maxkai, 11 Apr 2016htc fail in term of the design..for me.. Since they haven't been profiting as they'd hope so, perhaps they could not afford paying their design team as highly as before. On the design team's part, a lower than ever salary could mean they'll only exert effort in designing just to the proportion of their salary. I'm all just guessing at this point
Other companiese are going forward & Htc is going backword :P
Actually Htc is dead
This mentions 2 different storage options but misses out info of SD Card Support, is this a mistake or is the final product not having support for SD Card?
Sha, 11 Apr 2016Was about to purchase Xiaomi mi5 , but let's see what this one offers for the price it will carryGo for MI 5 it has feature rich software (MIUI) than the shallow sense software
Not even kidding. From looks like a samsung and back.... it's just ugly....
I don't know why everyone says that it looks ugly - I think it's quite nice!
They removed the HTC logo, but the bezel is still there...screen to body ratio will still be below 70% sadly :p
Just wanna know, IF the interior of the phone is very good, but the design is bad, can u guys compensate?
Been using htc since htc one m7, and i loved it. But i think its becoming really borin in design. They didnt reduce the huge size of the bezels and i think i'm done using htc and i'm going with s7 edge.
Really disapointed from htc, the front is a stupid copy from iphone, and i cant believe the company that made the super beautiful one m7, now is copying from apple!
Before aesthetic, all design team should be intructed of 2 basic metrics that drive usability for a smartphone: Screen area/ body ratio: should be as high as possible, and width: should be as narrow as possible. HTC is not comptetitive there for a long time already, it's like they do not even know that this makes or breaks pocketability and one-hand use...
But they are not alone, sometimes there are regression while technical progress on screen should allow great phones. G3 was very nice, moto X, S7 (especially the edge), mi 5 are too. iPhone, HTC, newer LG, sony....not so :-( )
The image doesn't do the phone justice. I'm sure it would look much better in person, as most of HTC phones.
Too much bottom bezels and the fingerprint scanner button should be centered
