When you already announce that you are going to switch to a completely new model lineup, you don't suddenly announce months later that you still have an SKU of the older-supposedly-retired-lineup to be released later. That's just bad marketing.

CarvTheJarv, 12 Apr 2016Why judge the X Series? It's not even released yet , Other people may say It's Dead on Arrival... moreThe spec sheet of XP is so 2013.

I still have Z1 and upgrading to X series makes no sense to me.

Plus IMO the design is bland compared to Chrome Z5 Premium.

If i was to buy the latest phone now or in the next month it would be Samsung or Huawei.

Other manufactures have nothing on the table to compete.

It's not even released yet , Other people may say It's Dead on Arrival , But what do we know? People may even like it better than the Z Series , Maybe It'll resolve the problems people had with the Z Series , So we can't judge it solely on our previous experiences and with the little information we have with that Series of Devices

Instead of giving us this crap.

Why not release an updated more refined version of the premium.

I'd buy Z5P in a heartbeat if it had SD820 and better battery life.

Still a way better handset than that crap X Series.

Anonymous, 12 Apr 2016Bullshit. I am using premium sinceit was launched. No heating at all. I guess you only use your phone to make calls.

Bottom line, all phones heat, but some heat up way more.

pika2000, 11 Apr 2016I guess the left hand at Sony does not know what the right hand is doing. Why release this now... moreBecause Sony, unlike Samsung, still supports their older flagship phones. Even the Xperia Z2 will have Marshmallow update from them. Meanwhile, the Note 4 and the S5 are both stuck in Lollipop and probably might get Marshmallow update in 2020

Anonymous, 11 Apr 2016Aw you missed Sony's heat pipe headlineThe purpose of the heat pipe is to conduct the excess heat away from the cpu of the phone and protect it from being damaged. This does not mean that the phone itself will run any cooler amd will still get hot to the touch with heavy use. You should think before you type ignorant comments.
