Plus the high resolution without Amoled means the battery life may not be that good.
Its a good device and I'd prefer it over lg, but it isn't as good as the s7. It doesn't have a USP except for the speakers which aren't eben on the front and don't really matter. Still, its good enough for me to see why somebody else would prefer it.
Lol good one this time.
I wish them success and good sales.
Wow!!
This is going to be interesting. I hope their sales and marketing, biggest pull-downers supports the product engineering arm.
A very even battle.
Hope they come with a dual sim version in India.
AnonD-81053, 12 Apr 2016actually DXOmark rate HTC10 with 88 score on par with Galaxy s7 edge. so HTC really nailed it ... moreGuys dxomark just checks out sensor level performance..
It doesn't checks post processing and hence Sony phones have higher scores
And even there's a doubt too coz it scored 88 in stills and 86 in video tied with S7 Edge which scored 88 in both
That something to think about
.alpha, 12 Apr 2016I like the camera and the move to move buttons out of the screen but the small screen, no ster... moreMost of those cheaper Chinese phones don't work as reliably well as the Samsung and HTC phones, do they?
HTC did hit the ball out of the park atleast on paper.
I will do wait for final reviews
Coz I have my set of concerns
The camera is quite compelling atleast on paper.. HTC isn't known for its post processing hope they fixed it right this time
I wish the home button would have been at Centre height wise much like Mi5 some may find I'm just nitpicking but just my opinion. It would have made the Design much more balanced
The audio experience with this phone would be fantastic
And front OIS damn no more blurry selfies
Battery life is a concern too.. I wish that LCD5 proves to be efficient much like AMOLED
And accuracy like it
Hoping for HTC to be back in the game like those days of HTC One coz guys we need more competition and innovation instead of just stuffing up some internals and copying each other's design

AnonD-379134, 12 Apr 2016Now this is a worthy successor of the One M7 of course !!
.alpha, 12 Apr 2016I like the camera and the move to move buttons out of the screen but the small screen, no ster... moreit has stereo speakers....
HTC really turned me on with this One! Hopefully the camera & battery life are as good as what their advertised...
FullHD is just fine. This QHD and high pixel count stuff is BS, battery draining etc.
Nice phone.good price.All d best HTC.
AnonD-279802, 12 Apr 2016not late atall...marshmellow came to my m8 months befor it reaches S6....just after the nexus ... moreyeah... but man M8 came with galaxy S5, and m9 came with S6, and M8 got updates before S6 n S5 both. S5 is receiving M android now 6 months later than M8.
I like the camera and the move to move buttons out of the screen but the small screen, no stereo speakers, small battery and high price isn't doing it for me. $700 for 32GB is a lot of money for an Android phone when other Chinese phones are much cheaper.
GALAXY BOY, 12 Apr 2016htc your update system is so bad. just learn from father of smart phones samsung. they are the... moredude stop killing yourself for Samsung and re-posting all over the BIG BOSS - HTC 10 page
we all know what is htc capable of and I hope it gets back on feet and kicks some a** in the air
M8 looks better in my opinion.
Anth0ny, 12 Apr 2016I like it alot, but I'm holding out in the hopes there is a HTC 10 MAX to come. Will keep usin... moreYes. That's the thing about HTC (and Samsung for that matter), a good number of variants will be coming out over the next few months.
Yes, it's expensive. But it is a flagship with the latest tech. If you really want it but can't affort it, wait.
Like most Android phones, the price will drop in about 3 months.
Best HTC phone ever made. Better than Samsung S7 in almost every way.
The rear cameras on both could be on par. But the front shooter is now optically stabilized on the HTC and that should definitely improve the overall quality. It is obvious that samsung hasn't paid much attention to audio probably because they know some people would still buy the s7 no matter what. But HTC's take on audio is innovative and will definitely blow the s7 into bits. Also HTC has made sure that there is no bloatware ensuring that the phone runs smooth even after months of use whereas the s7 even though has tried to make Touchwiz cleaner still has got a lot of useless software features which is only good to show in ads and will eventually bog down the phone.
Samsung has got all the reasons to be worried. But they've got money and they'll spend how much ever it takes to convince people that the S7 is somehow better.
