This design looks terrible, its not innovative. its still way to fat. I'm not a fan of the slide out keypad design, its always prone to break or become loose and wobbly. I think Nokia should take the plunge and start thinking outside the box. The first thing that catches any-ones eye is design. Get that step right, and people will buy it no matter what.

Okay. This is officially the best looking sideslider in the history of mobile. Only a fool would complain about 640 x 360 resolution in a midrange phone on a screen less than 5inches in diameter. The average laptop has a resolution of 1280 x 800 and screen 15.4 inches. You can't count the pixels of the average laptop. There is a line that defines the limits beyond which technology becomes unproductive and unnecessary.

I don't think that screen is 3.5 inches. It looks more like 3.7. 4 inches maybe.

I don't think the n9 would have a 12mp camera. Most likely 8mp with zenon and dual led.

Nice phone. My Top3 for 2010-2011.

            No1: Samsung Galaxy S Pro
            No2: Motorola Droid 2
            No3: Nokia N9 (this C0-00 I mean :P)

            3 GREAT devices! :D

N9 (C0-00) is the best choice in Symbian! :)

looks as slim as motorola milestone, nice work nokia! my main issues with 5800 were the slow cpu and low ram: it would barely open skyfire browser alone, also the resistive screen was a real pain,, vga resolution is just enough for a mobile phone imo and divex/xvid/H24 support with hdmi makes it a excellent alternative for the good price, and i like it how nokia upport it's phones rather than samsung or HTC!

Some days ago was leaked the name of the new unannounced smartphone from Sony Ericsson codenamed Jolie. Sony Ericsson Jolie is based on the currently unannouced Windows Mobile 7 OS. The device has a sliding QWERTY-keyboard. It has similar to X10 size capacitive touchscreen display that supports multi-touch.

Jolie also has a 1GHz or faster processor. Yet, there is no much information about this device. The annoucement date of Sony Ericsson Jolie should be after Microsoft announced the new Windows Mobile 7 platform.

it's funny how everything Nokia releases, even budget phones, are being compared to the iphone by ifans. I bet the Nokia 166o has more reception bars than the iphone4.
But seriously, different target, different price, different form. Is that too hard to understand?
