Handwriting on a phone? Who cares, its a phone!
Oh and what a waste of money this Gresso thing is. To spend this amount on making a phone look luxurious it pathetic. To all the dins that will spend big on the luxury of having these special cases, why not buy a £20 case and donate the rest to a charity and help someone else or put a smile on someone elses face? Let your ego relax, its pathetic and really grinds my gears that people would spend so big to boost their ego. I for one would look at a user of the luxury changes in disgust!
i have to say im a sad owner of an iphone 4g. Losing signals while is the least of your problems. The video calls freezes up from time to time. And the screen is not as sensitive as it use to be. Double taps on some of the apps are needed. Nice try Apple maybe next time you'll make an actual phone and not a concept toy.

i've been on the iphone 4 waiting list for a week. my iphone was to be delivered on the 19th of july however i cancelled it yesterday and got a blackbery 9700 instead due to its design flaws, mainly its discoloured screen and loss of reception. oh well!
Nokia had losing signals only when their phones were terminated. iPhone in encumbered with other maladies.
kiz, 29 Jun 2010he could pay for your next nokia for youis that they can do?a 200 year old black wood fr africa? lol.they can use mahogany wood for this mediocre fone.jaz wait nokia will use kamagong wood strong as iron steel
I was gonna buy but I think is too cheap. God forbid I gonna see someone else with the same phone. Is not luxury anymore if everyone else has them.
"Here is the recipe that Gresso used to cook this delicious piece of geek art. Take a luxurious case made of 200-year-old African Blackwood. Add a teaspoon of 18-karat gold on the back panel and as a final touch add a pinch of Swarovski crystals for the ladies. Now charge an arm and a leg your insanely rich customers. Yummy!" - no no no Gresso missed a salient addition. What about a wraparound of "custom baked synthesized polymer with the owner's name etched" bumper as a facade for the antennae fix? That alone spells $100 more on profit.
People just can't find enough ways to spend money, do they?
It's just a stupid luxury material, it doesn't even boost the internal features of the iphone or something.....
Its disgusts me how steve jobs treats the people who made him. For such a "superior" product, something so simple wasn't even achived by a supposedly brilliant man. Sure, every piece of technology has its faults but this seems ridiculous. But all that aside my main point is when steve jobs says jump, i phone lovers say how high? People, think about this, his off handed comments and putting the blame on the public when we made him who he is today is disgusting. This is nothing more than a very rich man behaving like a spoilt child who has been spoon fed at their every demand.
to think people would waster their money on an iphone...absurd. then they run around and drop all their cash on a blinged version? ridiculous. why oh why? sure, its pretty, but there are heaps of gorgeous iphone covers available, if you really must buy an iphone.
Anonymous, 29 Jun 2010Does the blackwood sort the antenna issue?Sides remained unchanged - signal loss issue was untouched.
Look closely at the four photos in the source link. They are fake!!
The structure/ornaments in the 'tree' are identical!!
So at that price they haven't even made specimens for photo-sessions, merely some mock-ups....
I guess adding some electricity-resistant glass/paint over the metallic sides of the iPhone 4 was too much to ask for in a $4000 product...
They could have used "you can hold our custom iPhone 4 any way you want to" as a slogan for AD campaign.
I guess fixing problems is too much to ask from a company who's aim is to make money from air...
