ConsumerG, 13 Apr 2016I wouldn't say it's a surprise. Seems to be this year's trend. Hopefully this will be the end ... moreI concur but instead of 5.5" it should be 6" and above, I'm glad the small phone trend is catching on and not these niche pocket tablets.
Smaller battery, smaller screen size, same camera, no Gorilla Glass 4, no 6GB RAM, no Exynos 8890, ugly cheap design, what a crap-shoot.
Anonymous, 13 Apr 2016Still way too small . What screen size do you prefer?

Meizu Pro 5 was a beast of a phone. I can understand the smaller screen and the somewhat inferior processor, but what is this weak ass battery. The compilation of the three, does not make it a flagship phone, just a pathetic exuce of a succesor.
I hope there is a bigger version with a bigger screen with the latest Exynos or Qualcomm processor, and 3500 mah or more battery !
People should go for pro 5 insted of 6. Pro 6 dont have sd option right?
Vasan1, 13 Apr 2016Battery size is very less and also doesn't provide flagship chipset. Not a worthy competitor. ... moreFirst of all,it IS priced as a midrange phone(no need to considering)!
Second,Kirin 950/955 are considered flagship SoC's!?So why not the Helio X25??it will drive 1080p screen anyway, and is faster than SD810!
And last, battery performance(as well as the overal performance in previous point) are dependant on software optimisation. Why don't wait and see how that unfold?
kevin97, 13 Apr 2016Higher resolution and a small sensor and a simple lens = murky disaster, as we have all seen.I wouldn't have said what I have said if I wasn't sure.
As we have seen? Not true, did you look at the Lumia 950 shots? Check out allaboutwindowsphone.com
20MP. Way better than any flagship this year and last year. Excellent post processing.
Dear Meizu, what you think customers do with such small battery? Nothing, if they not going keep recharge it all the time.
