Anonymous, 16 Apr 201613 Oct 2015 ... The Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation (Warf) sued Apple in January 2014 ...... moreOf course it wasn't stolen, it was about a patent, not a complete CPU design. Companies with alot of money like Apple get sued all the time. Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation is listed as number 5 by Business Insider on its "Tech's 8 Most Fearsome 'Patent Trolls" list:
Anonymous, 16 Apr 201613 Oct 2015 ... The Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation (Warf) sued Apple in January 2014 ...... moreJesus christ, just because someone ATTEMPTS to sue someone doesn't mean their claims are true.
AMOLED is **** because you won't find a single panel without color banding and often they are poorly calibrated resulting in severe black crush. all the plebs say HUR DUR MY PHONE DOESNT HAVE THAT
then i look at their screen for a few seconds and instantly see it. subhumans like that are the cancer that's killing quality in the smartphone industry.
That's sad, considering that iphones always had good screens. now they are opting for screens that are crap yet easily impress plebs. this coming from an android user (nexus 5)
Anonymous, 16 Apr 2016You're probably confusing them with Samsung. Samsung is a slimy deceitful company.
http://... more13 Oct 2015 ... The Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation (Warf) sued Apple in January 2014 ... over the case, Apple could be liable for up to $862.4m in damages. ... Apple, this time targeting the company's newest chips, the A9 and A9X, ...
nope it was apple. there cpus were stolen from a college in wisconsin.
Anon, 16 Apr 2016Now after using OLED screens on Apple products we will see a huge change of events with Apple ... moreBut why there are still lots of people using amoled phones ? No one tell them the burn-in issue ?
Anon, 16 Apr 2016Apple bought a company to do it. Samsung did it its self. Ha! Samsung acquires more companies than Apple. That's how the tech industry works. The people here know nothing about the tech industry.
Anonymous, 16 Apr 2016no if im not mistaken , there cpu design was stolen from a college. wern't they sued for that.... moreYou're probably confusing them with Samsung. Samsung is a slimy deceitful company.
AnonD-405901, 16 Apr 2016Still beats the crap out of everyone XDJust wait for some time they will be beaten by that craps.
Anonymous, 16 Apr 2016Apple has acquired alot of hardware companies over time, like P. A. Semi (CPU) and LuxVue Tech... moreno if im not mistaken , there cpu design was stolen from a college. wern't they sued for that. oh yes, yes they were.
harlekkin, 16 Apr 2016Have you heard of a thing called "references"? They are down the bottom of the page for you to... morehave you actually read any of the references. most the time there either inaccurate or point to a reference directly from the company claiming such things. seen references which were nothing more then propoganda pamplets used without issue. so go ahead and be a blind fanatic. its on the internet so it must be true type. its currently political season you want to watch pages change hourly , go look at political candidate pages , they change hourly, with references. theres a reason that colleges started forbidding using wikipedia as a resource. it can be way to heavily biased.
Anon, 16 Apr 2016Apple bought a company to do it. Samsung did it its self. Do you actually think Samsung have done everything they do from scratch since the startup of "Samsung" (with for that mater is a conglomerate, consisting of alot of companies). If that is the case its time to wake up :) Companies, including Samsung, acquire other companies all the time to bring new knowledge inhouse.
Apple bought P. A. Semi in 2008. Its not like they had the A9 SoC developed at that time. It has been developed by people employed by Apple.
Anonymous, 16 Apr 2016Samsung won. But both are overpriced craps for me. you are absolutely right my friend
Note6, 16 Apr 2016Over saturated OLEDs....no way!!! I will not buy apple products....;-) /Syou don't know anything about oled
Now after using OLED screens on Apple products we will see a huge change of events with Apple fan boys. They will suddenly start talking how awesome is it. Not because they like it but because the same reason that makes them somehow believe that LCD is better than OLED. And i can see what reason they are holding on is the burin-in. guys i don't even know what that is and i have been using samsung since s2. And mostcof my firends do.
Over saturated OLEDs....no way!!! I will not buy apple products....;-) /S
Jun5678, 16 Apr 2016How about you and sammy create your own software? LOL.Samsung have lots of it own apps, and no only for android.
It have TizenOS, older Java platform for phones, RT system for gear fit and other devices.
Not to mention huge amount of software for all bunch of devices that he produce
Anonymous, 15 Apr 2016I hope Samsung charges Apple both an arm and a leg for the panels.Yes, Samsung should take back twice or trice the Millions paid to Apple for the Meaningless Law Suite!
AnonD-473183, 16 Apr 2016This is incorrect and an Apple fanboy fantasy that's gone way out of hand. Apple isn't smart e... moreApple has acquired alot of hardware companies over time, like P. A. Semi (CPU) and LuxVue Technology (display). So of course they do more than just buy components from other companies.
Taking about SoC, Samsung does certainly not both design and manufator it. Samsung have not even design there own custom ARM CPU core until recently with the M1 core in Exynos 8890. Apple have been doing their own CPU core design since A6 with the Swift CPU core.
