Some people are complaining about size."too big "" ridiculous "etc. I also don't like phones this big. But no one is forcing you to buy it. There are tens of phones in the market and even better than this, with so called" ideal Size " like 5.1, 5.2, 5.5, 5.7 etc. If you don't like this size, u can go with s7, s6,z5, HTC 10, p9, note 5, z5c and even iPhone se. Even Xiaomi also have their standard sized flagship. So just get it if you really want Value for money. Now this phone is big and targeted to big screen lovers, not far u.
MHanz, 17 Apr 2016NY has areas with high crime rate that it doesn't matter if your phone, wallet, valuable items... moreCrime rate in NY is down overall and the lowest since the early 60's, it's also the 10th safest city in the world, with that said your ass will still get robbed if you have this sticking out of your pocket lol keep your personal items hidden and you're good for the most part.

Let's wait the reviews before decide on buying this product.

Finally a replacement for my aging Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 since Samsung Galaxy A9 pro not coming to my country.
I have always used large screen phones. Current one is Lenovo with 6.8" display. Everything is so much easier to use. Though a little large, fits easily in pants pocket. Will never go back to small screens again.
Frankly speaking, 6.4 inch phablet is just too much for an everyday phone, very disappointed with Xiaomi's apporach...
I'm female and I have no problem carrying 6.4 inches phone I really like it
I use 6" inch phone and I love it. Everything is perfect and I could type using one hand. And reach top of the phone effortless because it has one hand keyboard and half screen function. That's awesome. For me 6.4" is a beast huge. 6" is exceptionally perfect for everyone who love big screen. Typing will less typo, watching movie like in heaven, playing games is gonna be super fun.
Anonymous, 17 Apr 2016Seriously. There are 1745392539 phones out there right now with 5-5.7in screens. Why don't s... moreTo me 5"-5.7" are small!!! That might seem massive to you, but to me and a lot of others thats small. We want BIG devices. I would go as far as to say 6" is even a little too small. just stop bitchin' and buy a 4.7" iphone and wonder at the size of the screen and live your life happily ever after and let the big boys (and girls) do our thing! can I get a round of applause?!?!?!
AnDas, 17 Apr 2016Not in NY it isn't it happens all the time here, don't know if it's like that in China or wher... moreNY has areas with high crime rate that it doesn't matter if your phone, wallet, valuable items are visible or not, NY is not a good point to base any statistics.
Xiaomi is smart enough they know pretty well that the market lacks of big devices so I think it's great move and lot of costumes will response positively well done Xiaomi lets welcome the new coming Max
I believe it should be called a calling tablet and not a phone
MHanz, 16 Apr 2016Pure exaggeration and you know it.Not in NY it isn't it happens all the time here, don't know if it's like that in China or wherever else Xiaomi decides to sell this phone. You're more susceptible to get robbed if your phone sticks out of your pocket, and no pocket is big enough to hide this monstrosity.
