Anonymous, 04 Jul 2010Do you really think the at&t excuse works? Might i remind you that we don't have at&t ... moreSweden is home to Ericsson, one of the oldest mobile brands. Scandanavia has the highest rates for mobile owners in the world, so therefore I totally acknowledge the network coverage should be very strong. Can I ask is it all the iPhones you are referring to or just the iPhone 4? As I haven't heard of iPhone problems in Scandanavia, but I am aware of iPhone 4 signal issues worldwide.
Anonymous, 04 Jul 2010Lol are u serious ?? Iphone 4 is not a car as u know so anyone could get it. For me i can get ... moreGosh, how frustrating.
Of course anyone can get an iphone if they want it thar bad. But it's not always practical (key word practical).
And here are the reasons:
-Some people do not need data plans
-Some parts of this world can on bt files
-Some people can't live without buttons
-Some people can't deal with at&t
I could go on with more reasons why it wouldn't be practical for someone to get the iphone. But they like the iphone for other factors that their phones do no have, and that's the reason why they turn bitter :)

Might i remind you that we don't have at&t in Sweden. Ask anyone, our 3G and (4G) network coverage is among the best and most high tech in the world. We get coverage deep undeground in subways and several floors down beneath any building. I have never heard of a dropped call in Sweden with any other phone but iPhone.
apple's team made a big mistake in the new generation of iphone 4, and the funniest thing is people should not hold the lower left corner of the phone...what to say about apple's statement

Lol that's the worst sentence I have ever heard! I have owned Nokias for 10 years, have owned Samsungs, used Blackberrys (the Blackberry Bold on Vodafone), then moved onto the iPhone. And guess what? It really is that brilliant! If I don't wear designer clothing, don't have a flashy car, why would the Apple logo alone inspire me????
Anonymous, 04 Jul 2010Iphone dropped calls are not from AT&T, lier its from the Iphone 4 itself, here is a sourc... moreThe death grip is a known issue. A call will likely drop if you grip that black strip. If you have a case for your iphone or if you easily avoid that small strip, you'll be fine, and if that call still drops, then that's not the iphone dropping the call but at&t's poor signal. A little common sense please.
I share photos and documents all the time. I email or MMS them. And I don't have to sit right next to you to do it :)
I am not bragging about facetime. I am just explaining its good points. I was and am never a fan of video calling. Wifi is not only available at homes silly. Cafes, hotels, schools, malls, restaurants, etc have wifi. They are called hotspots :)
Itunes is only for activation, synching and updates. You can download media files, apps, get emails, etc without itunes :)
You don't need a bumper for the iphone4, but if you find it hard avoiding that tiny strip, then get one. Cases are very, very common with touchscreen phones, not just the iphone. So why do you even ask as if the iphone4 has a bumper case available?
The iphone4's glass is indeed durable and scratch resistant. But it does not mean that I will be keeping it in my kitchen drawer along with the knives, forks and other sharp objects. You still handle it with care. My 3gs' has not a single scratch to its display, and that is why I was able to sell it for $400.
Anonymous, 04 Jul 2010I dont support people who bash a brand that didnt hurt them, but maybe they r giving an advice... moreMate, advise is one thing. It's good. Slating n bashing is another. I don't like muppets who throw insults at iPhone owners without any justification n reason. It's sad that they do this as it appears they hate Apple n think iPhone customers are not human, which in turn makes them mentally challenged!

Now is that the best phone in the world? No, people are driven by different things. Working class buyers in China are driven by low prices and WinMo, while Apple fans are driven by logo obsession wether it's good or not come in second.
Funny but true...
So many tv producers can't be wrong can they, or do you suggest they grabbed the comedy right out of the air with no connection to reality? What would be so funny about the scetches if they weren't based on real life behaviour?
Anonymous, 04 Jul 2010It wouldn't to u but it does for millions of others who know what a phone is supposed to be. :)In your opinion it will be a better phone for you n a few million. But in my opinion it will be another bug ridden annoying Symbian run device. Also, Millions n millions of iPhone customers can't all be unhappy with Apple. :)
For anyone who wants to know, before i went over to Blackberry, i used to be a iPhone 3G owner. I got so irritated with it that i started utterly disliking it.
I missed so many important calls because of the worst GSM/3G radio receiver in the world. Even though it showed full reception, alot of incoming calls went straight to my voicemail for no reason.
And evertime you charge the phone the reception goes dead even though the screen lies and tells you taht you have full coverage.
I couldn't last half a day with a full charge of battery if listen 1 hour of music on my way to work. By 4 oclock in the afternoon on my way home the battery metre was either red or down to 5% depending what theme i was using.
Now i understand that iPhone was lying about the reception bars and i recently found out that Apple knew about this all along and no doubt have been deceiving users for years just to cover up the bad antenna engineering.
They have been lying and faking the reception bars for 3 years and admitted knowing about nrecently in open letter just to save the iPhone 4 embarrasment and the sales surrounding it. They had no choice but to use this excuse an tlet the cat out of the bag.
What i horrible company!

As an iphone user, I have been criticizing the iphone as well. I even posted on here that if the yellow streak on my iphone4 wouldn't disappear, I'd have it replaced. But thank goodness it's getting lighter and lighter, but I think I'll have it replaced anyway.
You're a regular blogger here, and among the many haters on here, I know you are one of the few smart ones. You probably even know more tech stuff than I do. You just happen to be hateful for whatever reason. And no matter how smart you are, hating will never win over honest users like me :)
Heartbreak Kid, 04 Jul 2010Absolutely. The iPhone caters for my needs. The same way I the N8 wouldn't. :)It wouldn't to u but it does for millions of others who know what a phone is supposed to be. :)

Anonymous, 04 Jul 2010Correction: Non iphone owners or ex iphone owners :) Non iPhone owners. Ex iPhone owners don't moan about lack of flash support and Bluetooth file transfers and iTunes.....they would have known about this BEFORE buying the product. Non iPhone owners talk rubbish by bashing the brand. People who make constructive comments, whether it's pro or against the iPhone, are the only ones that matter.
I just found that iPhone haters(who just criticizes are called haters by iSheeeps) are actually ex-iPhone owners, including me, disappointed by non-functionality of being a phone and turned into so called haters..

Anonymous, 04 Jul 2010Hi all .. I'm here to explain to you what a SmartPhone in my opinion is incase u forgot :) ... moreWhat you so clearly forget is that everyone uses their phone differently. You might find InfraRed useful, I find it useless. You might find video calling great, I find it useless. I don't need it. I have tv functionality n can watch do much tv from my iPhone, also I can play games, also I can listen to music, also I have a top satnav, plus I have many useful apps. That's good enough for me n for this phone to cater many of my needs makes it a Smartphone. :)
