Anonymous, 22 Apr 2016If that's the case then apple are doing even more poorly than first thought.considering apple dont make 100 dollar phones like samsung do , apple makes more money by selling less phones
This is expected since most Samsung-phones cost $50 or buy one get one free.
Anonymous, 21 Apr 2016This is what most people dont realize. Apple has the best after sales support out of all the O... moreI don't think so. Apple support is only good if they have an Apple Store in the country. Their third-party repair centres and phone support are terrible. My iPhone 6's battery started bulging out after only 2 months of buying it from the online Apple Store. It then resulted in the metal casing bending. I sent it to the repair centre and they rejected it under the clause "accidental damage". I called Apple phone support and the tier 1 supervisor even made a silly joke about her supposedly "accident" of putting the phone in her back pocket. I wear a suit everyday and my phone is always in my chest pocket. They refused to repair it for free insisting it was accidental damage.
Lesson learned. In Apple's book, putting your phone in your pocket is now an "accident". Never will I be going back to iPhones.
iPhone only has 6, 6s, and SE. While Samsung has S, Edge, J - (j1, j3, j5, j7), A - (a5, a7, a8), etc. So yeah, it is already expected that samsung will ship more. Obviously.

Anonymous, 21 Apr 2016all parts of samsung flagship devices are special. except one thing. which is: LAGWIZ. I disagree. My Note 4 with stock 5.1.1 doesn't lag at all! And thats a 2 years old system. New touchwiz is much improved both visually & functionally.

AnonD-418168, 21 Apr 2016I think Samsung sells roughly around 40 million S-series phones a year, which is 2nd place in ... moreSince its high-end peak with the s3 generation, Samsung does sell and maintain approximately 40 millions of galaxy s (new+old) every year and around 10 millions of galaxy note (new+old) which is definitely by far the highest numbers in the android world. Apple sold about 225 millions of iphones (new and old) every year by comparison.
Kudos to samsung for sacrificing margins to maintain market share in this saturated mobile market. Huge win situation for consumers as being able to purchase a s6 for 50% off as soon as less than one year after its release is great for consumers.

I think majority of... moreI think Samsung sells roughly around 40 million S-series phones a year, which is 2nd place in the premium smartphone market — well ahead of third place. In fact, it's probably the only real competition Apple has in the segment. Meanwhile, Apple doesn't do very well in the non-premium market. Less than 15 million projected iPhone SE sales is a drop in the bucket.
