JJRGS, 22 Apr 2016Samsung is far better than ZanyJust because Samsung is Famous with all the Hype and sh*t , that doesn't mean it's better , Does your Samsung have Android N on their devices , even if they're just a preview? No , So Get the F*ck out of here and go back to Samsung's Pages
Anonymous, 21 Apr 2016Samsung is failure company. Go for Sony.Samsung is far better than Zany

Even n... moreLooking at your nickname everyone can tell you are a Zany (that's what I call) fanboy. Samsung is far far better than Zany. Look at the Xperia Z5 (flagship) it has overheating and many issues.Xperia X has heating issues
I experienced the self cracked with my sony z1compact . I just have my phone in my pocket and then when I try to use it. scree not responding anymore. there you could see a fine line in your screen. I had my phone checked with sony service center and they see that's device is not physically damaged. so warranty is not voided. meaning self cracked is a known issue with sony devices

I've never understood how people could be so careless with their phones and break them time after time. Like one of my friends who had like 4 different phones as he kept on dropping them.
Anonymous, 22 Apr 2016Just because it's made by Sony, it doesn't mean that it couldn't have that happened. I also fi... moreI agree with you 100% but I never said that is good because it's Sony so don't put words in my mouth ;) pls and all I was pointing out that devices need to be handled with some care and not everything to blame on manufacturer.
sadly I doubt that 100% perfectly build devices without any issues will ever exist ,defective rate is still high even among major OEM's for example Sony is famous for blurred lens in camera,Samsung for poor calibrated displays that look like lemons and so on I don't want to mention all because I can't defend alone from all fanboys** :D that are going to attack me LOL ...
... ** actually I can but it's tiresome and not fun when trolls cant provide proper arguments...
SKorap, 22 Apr 2016Yes it's been really annoying If so then I'm most certain that problem is in your headphones... I'm not sure how to explain this in most simplistic way since I'm not an expert but take a look on this two images and you will get it... not all headphone jacks are the same 1. http://i60.tinypic.com/xf9q9t.jpg 2. http://i.stack.imgur.com/8rFy3.jpg ...some headphones wont work with some phones properly and you can sometimes get them to work if plug in jack by two thirds of its length or one half and I think that happens in your case right ? if this what exactly happens then try different headphones if you have them , if not then ask friend or try in some store and when you confirm that's the issue replace them with model that works .
Other possibility's are that 3.5 mm jack on the phone is faulty and needs replacement but you should notice this from the first day of usage. It could happen also that 3.5 mm jack starts to malfunction if you ever plugged headphones before the port is dried out completely and that caused short circuit or if you used your phone in anything that isn't fresh water(pool, river, lake, sea, ocean) frequently for prolonged period of time because water is not just water but also small minerals/salt that deposit inside the jack over time causing bad connection...
if the problem is in the second paragraph then only solution is to replace 3.5mm jack ,although you can try to clean it if the issue lays maybe by using phone in anything that isn't fresh water( I heard that some people where able to get it work properly again).
that's all I know ...so good luck in finding solution for your phone and cheers !

I also find it annoying to accept that my expensive phones all had some type of problems, but that's just how it goes. What next, perfectly build phones without ANY problems at all? :D
DarkMaster, 21 Apr 2016do you mean 3.5 mm jack input of your headphones must stay in certain place to work properly? Yes it's been really annoying
Anonymous, 21 Apr 2016I just saw forum posts that the phone was just sitting on a wooden table and then the user pic... moreI do agree that every phone has it's flaws and problems but that guy on that forum is lying just try to think with common sense and ask yourself is such thing possible ''self cracking'' without any external force or effect on the glass . what nonsense is next they will come up with ''self-bending'' ?
DarkMaster, 21 Apr 2016Yeah I heard about that and it happened to other phones as well like iPhone 4 and some HTC and... moreI just saw forum posts that the phone was just sitting on a wooden table and then the user picked it up and noticed that the glass had cracked for no actual reason. Anyway, all phones have their problems. My all-aluminum One M8 had poor WiFi due to the aluminum and so on, my first and last Sony was the k610i years ago. It was a decent phone, but had some build quality problems as the back cover was easily undone by accidental touch. Nothing that a good old duck tape couldn't fix...
