[deleted post]Compare elephant with elephant. Nokia sells 1 million handsets per day and HTC just 150000.

yeah HTC GO for it!! they're taking the best tactics: best quality and moderate prices! They're making all-around phones and not just heavy-duty processor and rest cheap sht, not just super amoled screen and the rest of the phone sux, not just super cool music and stinking battery life, not just biiig screen and crappy user expirience.

They make a good phone with same level of "superiority" on every item - battery, screen, processor speed, size, touch response.

And they are not skyrocketing the prices coz they are aware if they sell 1 million phones for 100€ is more than if they sell 300k phones for 300€ like iphone and nokia do it.

Great job htc, i'm getting a desire soon hopefully ;)

htc's quality is garbage. thier phones fall apart like you're holding crackers. its like buying a gm car... everything is put together, features might be nice.. but somewhere down the road, you will have problems... keys on qwerty keyboard get lose or stop functioning, screen problems, camera module problems, speaker phone probs...
        garbage.

Now they need to challenge themselves into their own handset designs.

Considering the prices they charge, no wonder their handsets are giving them back this much.
