AnonD-463876, 25 Apr 2016UHD was never mentioned in the article. I know but I was generally responding to misinformed commenters here
hanna nickarad, 24 Apr 2016No mate. It is as i said. Told you that HD-720p, FHD-1080p, UHD (QHD) -2K, etc.
Have a good day.QHD: Quad HD, 4x HD (720p), meaning 2560x1440.
beccause UHD has two version 4K or 8K to differ these two you can use term QFHD for 4x FHD (1080p) meaning 3840x2160 16x9 version of 4K UHD , ( DCI 4K=4096x2160, it is used in cinemas)

Changing resolution will have little impact on battery life unless it reduces the size of the area of the screen being used.
AnonD-494168, 24 Apr 2016Don't worry what u forgot that huawei STILL supports resolution change? 720p and 1080p?

Does it reduce the size of the image on the screen or is there sampling pricessing going on that changes the relative resolution on full screen display?

Improved screens , processors , RAM etc ... but we see a clear and efficient improvement of the new smartphone batteries , they have forgotten that they are mobile devices

AnonD-496818, 24 Apr 2016About time we had, those from Huawei, understand that this is the future, 2K.I agree. The approach Sony took with 4K screen was great, otherwise battery life would have been truly appalling.
Huawei is much more genius then samsung and others but only the issue is of touch is not good
They must use glass 4 and above glass models to make good touch

Next Huawei will have in settings; Resolution options
Whether you can see resolution difference is depend on the distance of the screen to your eye.
In normal smartphone usage, FHD is enough and there is no need for QHD as people having problem to discern the resolution difference.
VR however is a different case, The screen is placed way closer to the eye where QHD does have visible differences.
