And what f... moreDon't count on GSMA, hopefully some user will make a full list of changes (both added and removed features). But with my experience so far, i totally agree you. I own 3 galaxy phones and i have disabled updates on 2 of them once i read that new Android version was out on them in my country : S6 Edge (stays on lollipop) and Galaxy Alpha (stays on Kitkat).
My S5 will probably be the only device i'll update to MM when available to me since i've been disappointed with Samsung updates removing features here and there after each upgrade to new Android major version. And as you noticed, there are no new real features being added since TW was first on all those "new MM features" but people were too busy to spite on Samsung.
I am in India and I got my update yesterday! Installed Kies 3 on my laptop and connected my machine Galaxy S5 and BOOM! I was told to update my phone with the new firmware it is about 1.5 GB . Looks Nice ! but i feel that it is draining out the battery at a much faster rate than Lollipop.
this is ridiculous, i have been waiting Marshmallow for my unlock Samsung Note 5 for ages. Now they decided to released for Samsung S5 first?
I will never buy new samsung phone again. such as bad "after sales services"

Most of the Android 6.x exclusive features were already implemented in your device through TW.
The SoC is the SD805 (Krait 405 which is a very similar to Cortex A15 32-bit) so you wouldn't benefit from the 64-bit capacities of Android 6.x anyway?
Not to mention you'll loose battery stamina due to that white infused UI (unless you get themes which the S5-owners didn't get with 5.x nor 6.x).
Or do you have some apps that only work Android 6.x that you're desperate to use?
Can someone please tell us the difference between de S5 Marsh and the S6/S7 Marsh?
And what features are removed compared to 4.4 or 5.x?
- So far I learned that the ultra-power saving is gone :-(
- Still no themes so you're stuck with Samsung's ugly light-blue of modern times and that battery-eating white from stock Android.
How much storage is free after install (and full reset)?
Is it any faster than 4.x or 5.x despite not being a 64-bit SoC which IMHO defeats the actual purpose of going to 5.x/6.x?
Are there any battery life improvement despite those blindingly white panels and flat ugly icons (probably again without soft shadows so you can't distinguish them on a busy background)?
All in all, is it really worthwhile to do this upgrade? Yeah, I know a lot of people in here are craving to have the newest from the newest even if it doesn't function properly but I want to know from people with common sense and more intelligence than a 14-year old juvenal.
AFAIK majority of apps run just as fine on Kitkat as anything else (exception are the few camera-apps that are RAW-enabled). So for the apps there's (almost) no need to go beyond 4.x.
IMO the S5 has no 64-bit SoC and has less than 4GB which are in all honesty the main reasons to go fo 64-bits.
Also a lot of Android 6.x features were already available in prior Touchwiz variants like power-saving (you got 2 power-saving modes standard on the S5), fingerprint-scanner etc...
Anyone care to investigate this further and publish? GSMArena?
Marshmallow Update for my Note 4 Model no. SM N910G now rolling out in India. It's weigh size 1342 mb.
Why Samsung does not publish time table for all variants of S5. I have S5 plus G901F. will this model be updated together with G900F? Can someone from Samsung advise please
