[deleted post]Symbian is simple and well mature for all these years, u can call properly, it asks u whenever u wana connect to the internet which is a good thing if u dnt wana waste ur data plan, mms works properly, emailing works properly, youtube is fast and responsive, most apps dont need a connection for them to work. Some Operating Systems just connect to the net on thier own for updating some news and weather apps which u dnt know about and consumes from the data plan. Looks dont serve any purpose at all, wat a consumer should look for is functionality, its the question of wat can u do with ur phone. Again its a PHONE to start with.

Symbian focuses on the basics of a phone, that why they dont have problems with calling, sms, mms, battery life which is the best in Nokia between current phones, phone charging time is fast and doesnt take too much time. Why do people forget about these things which make a phone a communication tool.

[deleted post]But its nice to have a 12 mp camera on a phone, why not if u can apply it ?

Some people just dont carry cameras everywhere so this would be good for taking pictures or video on the go.

[deleted post]Every Phone has its own advantages.. Thus Iphone and N8 is two different phones with different appeal.. In my opinion comparison is not valid among them. I think upcoming N9 will truly compete with Iphone4 not N8..
BTW I'm not a big 'hater' of Iphone but I hate restrictions.. :D

Yoel, 10 Jul 2010You can see the cameraman on one picture. im not sure he's holding the n8So, you mean to say that.....the photo taken from N8 will show the cameraman and also show the same N8 phone with which he is taking the photo!!!!!!!!!!!!

You deserve a Nobel Prize for such a mind-boggling statement.....

Anonymous, 10 Jul 2010Like i said before, i usually tell people that want eyecandy experience with the raw power of ... more+1. You got the point. I have skinned my 5800 (Symbian 1) with 8 custom home screens, widgets and all new custom icons which Nokia just dont offer out of the box, but I am happy, I atleast have decent hardware which can make calls irrespective the way I hold my phone.

xxxxxx , 10 Jul 2010good come back, well done.Like i said before, i usually tell people that want eyecandy experience with the raw power of Symbian to go get Nokia N900 with Maemo.

Symbian is very powerful yet kind of a ugly OS but most people skin the OS, cause it's an open source and can twisted and changed whatever way you like. There are skins/themes that looks exactly like Android and iPhone OS for Symbian Touch if that's what you prefer.

No company is perfect. Nokia focused to much on the multimedia and forgot the user experience, Apple focused to much on the user experience and forgot that people actually need to make calls and not just shove it in the ass and press the iDildo vibrate app.

you know some pple r so dumb...

Nokia, Samsung, HTC are the best phones on the market, and now LG is making its way also...

Iphone is a kids phone nothing special about it still needs alot of work to be one of the best phones in the market...

everytime a phone a released in the market pple compare it to the Iphone :S... i dont find anything special about the iphone but its all icrap...

what Nokia have done with the N8 is outstanding till now and other phones as well like the N900 and 5800 when it was first launched...

Thats why Nokia is #1 and Samsung is #2 and the rest follows...
