Alien, 02 May 2016Such a waste of hood hardware. The thing with chinese phones: what you pay is what you get. Pe... moreYour thoughts r actually like alien......nowadays everything is Chinese.....and Chinese makes the best smartphones in half the price as Samsung.....from China brands oneplus phones r the beasts __
For this prices and if the OP3 is available as in being invite free, will give up waiting for the mi5 and get the OP3.
Have enough of this stupid hyped up flash sales. Being hyped but no stocks is pointless.
AnonD-404331, 02 May 2016the 6GB of ram wouldnt so much be to counter Androids resources, but rather account for future... moreIt shows how little you understand Android and linux kernel. Android can use as much ram as you are going to throw it immediately. It merely caches the opened apps making them ultra fast. I much prefer to make use of the extra ram for caching than for bloated apps, so NOW is the best time to use the extra ram, before apps get bloated...
Like my 3gb phone, it was actually faster when it was using Kitkat, because I was able to use more of the 3GB effectively (for app caching), which meant less loading for me. Sadly lately my apps load a lot more ... Let's hope app makers won't take heed of what you said, Ram is better used for caching NOT for individual apps, so I pray that what you say won't come to pass (future Android "needing" this much ram)...
Anonymous, 03 May 2016You're the first guy I know not satisfied with Xiaomi mi4. Dirt cheap these days, great camera... moreI meant marshmallow, Mi4 did not have a lollipop update, it got marshmallow directly...
AnonD-467869, 02 May 2016All OnePlus devices, Xiaomi Mi4, and another Xiaomi, I don't remember which. Bunch of Lenovos ... moreYou're the first guy I know not satisfied with Xiaomi mi4. Dirt cheap these days, great cameras even for now, but most importantly continuous updates that actually put value on the phone. The latest one (lollipop), actually made it faster. First I see of an update making a phone both more capable and faster. MI4 is pretty much the standard by which I measure how other phones should be, I'd be honestly curious to see where it failed you.
More than a dozen people to whom I recommended it are more than ecstatic, they still can't believe the value they are still getting from it (one guy even turned it into windows phones because it has better support of the apps he is using, yeah! There is an official way to turn it into a windows phone, that's a first for any phone ...)...
Ios or Android is a personal choice. For safety and security concerned people apple or Google nexus is the only way for atleast 2 year term since most people don't upgrade every year. Now it comes to price. Apple always ask ridiculous premium price you can see the sales now.and Google offers a very stock Android. Here comes android OEMs with their price and design variation. Chinese l, Korean all give many option to fit many people and that's the point. So everyone can enjoy the premium experience in a budget. It's upto you and your budget you want security and peace of mind for atleast 2 years or just chilling a year with cool new features. No need to bash people and countries.
its already out flooding one plus two phones, but make sure its the beta release, cons comes along with it, marshmallow has been a battery drainer for me, but with few Fource stops its back on track, system and fingerprint sensor has become lightning fast.
Anonymous, 02 May 2016If you have not used any chinese oem flagship then spare usAll OnePlus devices, Xiaomi Mi4, and another Xiaomi, I don't remember which. Bunch of Lenovos as well, if we're counting those. Oh, and a brief hands on with an LeEco device. Watch yourself on the way out, OK?
AnonD-489553, 02 May 2016Haven't received marshmallow for oneplus 2 yet.. Very disappointed..i got update Android 6 for oneplus1 . how the hell u dont get update.
Anonymous, 02 May 2016> OnePlus made me an iPhone user. Waited and waited and waited for updates to Marshmallow. ... moreI spent like an hour on 9GAG before this, but your comment made me actually "lol" for the first time today. Thank you.
Alien, 02 May 2016Ummm have you seen the all glorious MI5 bendtest?
When chinese phones won't break so easy cos... moreWhile Chinese device quality is not as bad as you're making it seem (Xiaomi and OnePlus, anyway), I agree with you in that you can't have everything for a fraction of the price; that's just not how any of this works. When you compromise on how much you're paying, you compromise on what you're getting, simple as that. That's not a bad thing, as long as you know that you've made a compromise, and don't expect the world from it. I just can't stand it when people say you can get everything from a Chinese device for less than half the cost of other flagships.
Also: I don't know about China, or other Asian countries, but Indians do care about quality - AND quantity. We want both, but we tend to lean towards quantity, because, at least in my experience, it doesn't matter how well built a device is, we can and will break it. An S7 would die just as fast as a Mi5 in my hands. ;)
By the way, nice to see another Xperia fan - very underappreciated devices. Unfortunately, due to price, and their refusal to use a more durable glass, I couldn't consider any of the Z line after my ZR's display shattered 3 times (only one of those times was the drop bad enough to justifiably cause a shatter). Now that they've launched their X line in metal though, I might be able to a couple years down the line. If they're still alive by then, that is; they seem intent on shooting themselves in the foot lately.
Haven't received marshmallow for oneplus 2 yet.. Very disappointed..
Anonymous, 02 May 2016Exactly. What's the point of paying huge amounts of money if you're going to upgrade anyway ea... moreDude, your last statement answers why people choose apple. If you don't wanna get roasted on the Internet, then do some research before hand.
Alien, 02 May 2016Ummm have you seen the all glorious MI5 bendtest? When chinese phones won't break so easy cos... moreIf you saw that bend test then you should have seen the Oneplus 2 bend test. It passed with flying colors. I've used a Oneplus phone. It's definitely not as bad as you make it out to be lol. I would say it's on par with Sony and Samsung. Yes have have used those brands too.
AnonD-55752, 02 May 2016Will this come with the pathically slow software updates like all OnePlus phones?oneplus has had official updates available on the forums far in advance of most other manufacturers.
