What HTC should have done is a HTC 10 lite with boomsound speakers, Snapdragon 650, 13mp camera, IR port. A bit like M8s but with the current design and better processor. :)

Oh, god damn. They really have no idea what they should be focusing on. It once was a solid company, but it lost it's way since they released M8 - that was the first bad sign.

They probably bought those chips in bulk to put some developers on retainer for software support....the same with that 20.7 MP Toshiba camera and the 4 MP OmniVision front camera.

Yea...htc is releasing 10 phones in the last year with almost similar specs and sizes. Great job!!
Instead of confusing your customers with more and more the same stuff. you should have built a 4.7 " fhd 10 with the sd 652 which would find definitely more buyers than the cheaper variant of the 10. Where are the powerful minis? Why is it so difficult ?
