AnonD-361638, 11 May 2016Hahaha...Hate!!!???why should i hate anyone becoz he/she using tablet size phone.
Z ultra was... moreNot sure why your definition of 'soon' is, but the Xperia Z ultra launched for 47k in August 2013 and the price drop which you mentioned happened in November 2014, so it was quite some time later.
But yes, it is quite a large device and as far as I know devices with screen sizes larger than 7" are called tablets.
AnonD-361638, 11 May 2016if lots of people like more then 6 inch phones then Samsung Mega series must b hit.but its not.Mega series sold well in Asian markets according to the retail shops who kept restocking these things. They are not fanboys to operate on a loss so nope you are mistaken. This phone from Xiaomi can seriously undercut Samsung's offerings because Samsung has gotten greedy with the blatant overpricing on their mid-range phones.
AnonD-259899, 10 May 2016A lot of people do, that's why they are making it.if lots of people like more then 6 inch phones then Samsung Mega series must b hit.but its not.
AnonD-400081, 10 May 2016Bro, even I'm from India and I'm eager for this phone to launch in India.
If you remember, ... moreHahaha...Hate!!!???why should i hate anyone becoz he/she using tablet size phone.
Z ultra was launched @47000 but soon when it didn't get any response from market Sony sell it for very low.in 17999,one of my friends had buy it.
I don't have any problem with anyone. I am just saying 6.44" size phone can't called a smartphone. Its a Tablet with mobile features.
Xiaomi Mi Max is just a mid-range phone
1) Big Screen Display at 6.44 inches
2) Big Capacity battery size at 4850mAH
1) 1080P Full HD Display at 342ppi
2) NO Optical image stabilization for the primary camera
3) NO NFC Support
4) NO USB Type-C Charging port
5) NO quick-charge 2.0 or 3.0
6) Come with 5v / 2A Charger
7) Internal Memory not using Universal Flash Storage (UFS) 2.0
8) No 4K or 2K Video taking
AnonD-399271, 10 May 2016smartphone is 5.5 inch or less
tablet is 7 inch or more
greater than 5.5 and less than 7 is... moreI remember when 5.3 or 5.5 inch phones were called phablet!Basicaly everything beyond 5" was called phablet.
What is happening now?5.5" brick passing as a regular phone? No way -_-
Alien, 10 May 2016Xiaomi has high end phones? Hahahaha! Keep lying to yourself. Maybe it will become a reality ... moreHe meant the higher end model of the 3 versions of mi max, that is one with sd652, 4gb, 128gb. Never hurry to reply.
Compare it to the smallest 7" tablet and it's quite reasonable. Compare it to a 5.5" phone and it's pretty big.
OTOH I've seen people using 7" tablets as phones and they looked ridiculous. Using this is less ridiculous.
AnonD-361638, 10 May 2016I am from India.its in Asia.so i also know abt asian people.
If u rem sony Z ultra was the 1s... moreBro, even I'm from India and I'm eager for this phone to launch in India.
If you remember, the Xperia Z Ultra had launched for roughly 47,000 INR (~$700) and the Mi MAX is launched at roughly 15k rupees (~ $230). At least for me 30k is a lot of money and can definitely influence my decision.
Just chill out man, let people who want a big phone buy this, there are many options for people who want small phones, no need to hate.
AnonD-493799, 10 May 2016Every phones xiaomi sell outside China have playstore on it,unless you import it right freshly... moreYes, MI phones in India have playstore, and they all are best all-rounder phones in India.
AnonD-361638, 10 May 2016I am from India.its in Asia.so i also know abt asian people. If u rem sony Z ultra was the 1s... morePeople in Asia also like value for money, and everyone knows about Sony pricing, by the way I'm from maharashtra, india.
If this device - like the Mi5 - comes without an internal frame - at this size -it'll snap in half easier than a cracker!
AnonD-399271, 10 May 2016smartphone is 5.5 inch or less tablet is 7 inch or more greater than 5.5 and less than 7 is... moreThe first Samsung note was 5.2 and thats the phone that started the phablet name.. just saying ;)
Thank you xiaomi!!!! Thank you for breaking away from the mold of not releasing another 5in phones like everyone else. Thank you for listening to fans who wants bigger screens. Thank you for putting in a much bigger battery that the competitors fail to do!
