My HTC Desire doesn't have a problem with the way I hold it or lose signal except in deep valleys, tunnels etc, which is entirely natural.

From the moment they announced that the iphone 4 has an external antenna, I knew they were going to have problems.
Antennas should always be internal and at the top of the phone.
At the press conference a reporter told Steve that his BB 9700 doesn't loose signal when he grips is. Steve's answer was that it doesn't happen in any condition. The iphone (4, 3GS, 3G) looses signal in any condition when gripped. That is the problem!

Samsung and Apple have strong business ties, of course Samsung is not going to say anything officially about one of their biggest customers.

not only is it a proven fact that skin contact with antenna distorts transmission of radio waves, it is also hazardous to your health (think microwave ovens), an apple a day does not keep the doctor away. An apple is more likely to lead to a slow and lingering death from a malignant tumor.
