I sometimes wonder why the simple & logical thing to do eludes people. Recipients (@TwitterUser), hashtags & DMs shouldn't count against 140 as well.

I've come up with this idea when they announced the stupid 10.000 characters limit (and then dropped it after the outrage). Basically 1 year has passed and they just got an idea about it. Or they've seen few of my messages I've posted about it. I just wonder when the hell will they realize this, because images and links eating up char limit is so dumb...
