The problem is, you're not even an ip... moreIm not convincing u to go and buy anything, and i respect a person's taste, and i have used the Iphone 4, and the 3GS before it. The 3GS was mine but i don't use it anymore, but the Iphone 4 is my friend's and i tried it from him.
I currently use the Nexus one, Blackberry bold 9700, and Nokia e72, i have the samsung wave but its just at home. Im simply a phone user and i test phones, not just recent phones, ive been using smart phone since cell phones started, and before it were the pagers, so i know the history and i know what is reliable and wat isnt, believe me from all phones i used, Nokia are the most reliable phones, hardware wise, fast connection speed, fast youtube load times, software is stable on my e72, no lags, crashes, etc.. and it does multitask like a charm, the screen is a bit of a problem because its cramped, but i don't blame them, in the end its business phone. Currently waiting for the Nokia N8, we'll see how it performs, but i have high hopes since they r working really hard on it. Don't forget Nokia are pioneers in telecommunication, and they know what a SmartPhone stands for.
Anyways u don't seem to understand my friend, like i said before just go try it somewhere with weak signal or ask a tele communication technician about the problem, i am sure he will tell what i just told u. Keep ur Iphone 4 i didnt say change it

im no nokia fan (nor apple), but seriously? steve jobs is acting like an idi0tic, immature spoiled brat. what a d0uche! stop pointing at other mobile phone manufacturers and admit that there's something wrong with your piece of crap. this "blown out of proportion" problem, started when you were too chicken to admit that there's something wrong with the unit's design. you're the one to blame you airhead!

well steve jobs is doing a good job..the way i see his tactics is like this.."if i cant find a way to fix the signal on the iphone4 and everyones babbling about it..then ill look for other phones from other companies that has the same problem just to divert the issue against my phones issue,so people will forget the negative side on my iphone 4's part..hes really playing dirty now and well hes that good,but its also 1 way of admitting that the phone really has a hardware signal defect..LMFAO!

Also as proof, when the signal drops to 0% with the hand test you would get no service. You don't as it has switched over to GSM, the signal bars are only half the story FYI.

Apple should answer questions from complaining customers.
Stop making publicity weaknesses from other phone manufacturers.
If Apple or Iphone wants to stay on the business- make their own stand. ACCEPT their Mistakes...............

the real question is why bad mouth others when you have a problem? you know it's not a big deal but you go out of the way to tell the World that others have the same problem. This is repugnant behavior pattern that will:
1) Get you killed in jail (he has contribannd too)
2) make enemies for life when interacting with police
3) cause you to loose life long friends.
Apple your behavior is repulsive a disgusting!

Well this is getting out of hand, apple is blaming everyone but themselves, first their customers, then networks and now other mobile phone manufactures. It's truly sick. With regards to Signal drop it is possible to do this with ANY wireless phone.
Fact of the mater All other manufactures have the aerial at the bottom of the phone which people do not hold because that’s where the microphone is, no point holding it there if no one can hear you!
2nd matter the human body is 60% water which does a lot at effecting the signal and then humans natural electrical discharge of the body on top of that which water is a good conductor for. Fact of the matter is Apple have screwed up plain and simple, by having the wifi and GSM/3G so close together that your body connects the two together causing corruption in the signal as they are shorted out. Also iPhones have had problems since the 3G with dropped calls due to the Apple antenna they use, it only accepts one signal at a time and needs to switch from GSM to 3G and vice versa.
While switching the signal will briefly drop and switch hence the dropped calls. Other manufactures use a standard of receiving 3G and GSM at the same time, the signal quality and strength drops below it falls back to GSM without switching. The phones that Apple are showing is only half the story, 3G signal is being blocked by the hand and falls back to GSM which is much stronger but lower bandwidth. This means that although the phone detects a good 3G signal the quality of the signal is poor. By this is still shows the 3G signal as being 0% but at 10% it has already switched to GSM.
What this means is your calls DO NOT drop unless GSM signal is very weak also. Apple is showing you only half the story and personally, Motarola, nokia, Samsung, HTC etc have every right to take legal action against Apple which i might add is digging a very big grave for itself.
Apple is worse than Microsoft, at least Microsoft will admit to a mistake but Apple would rather blame anyone and everyone for their very own design flaws. It makes Apple the most arrogant company on the face of the planet.

Media attacks didn't really hamper the ip4's success. I'm sure it would be the same for nokia :)

It doesn't take 30 days for you to determine whether a device can make and receive calls. Don't you think there would've been a massive return rate of ip4 if none of us could make and receive calls?

Hardware accommodations aren't always identical between phones. The more hardware space you have, the more you can accomodate hardware requirements for better implemention and improve performance.
