RIM just doesn't get it. Life has moved way beyond what RIM has to offer. Yes, yes, RIM is the leader where smartphones are concerned, but only just because the Apple iOS4 and Android platform are catching up rapidly.
RIM, Nokia and SonyEricsson need a massive change in their approach to smartphone technology. They need to stop building on antiquated technology and instead, build uber intelligent systems from the scratch.
BB OS6 is nothing but window dressing. Time is ticking and ticking fast for RIM.

thanks for allowing me to comment,people and phones,for every person on the planet there is a phone to suit his or her needs,people ask for every thing from a biger screne to a biger camera batery life you name it the public ask for it from the phone companies abd they try to respond, gone are the days when a phone was just that a phone whith all the addons, ask your self how much of it do or are you going to yo use, talking and texting bb messenger are still the most used fetures on the phones, and that is not going to change any time soon, as i see it rim has built a strong product one that you can depend on BB messenger is awesome and no other company can touch it all Blackberrys world wide can talk to each other the os system is sound and you can depend on the phone it works very well, my advise to rim would be to work on a longer life battery a better back caseing seal to prevent moisture getting in and to review the bluetooth,make it easy to work with the dual sim is a good idea myself and most bizz clients i work with have two phones that you walk withall day, your personal phone and the bizz phone if they can solve that problem,it would be really great, i have a 9700 which works quite fine rim has done a great job in bringing this phone to market, the change from a track ball to track pad was great,i know you cant get it right all the time but customers want a phone to be a phone,so dont spend the money on just puttng another phone on the market, put the best that you can do with what you have on the market,invest in making the 9700 a 10000 or the blackberry mill, with 2000 amp battery biger faster processer and moisture seals by all ports and to be able to work with windows on board and if you can prevent me from having two phones go for it.Thanks

GSMArena, I think the screen resolution will be closer to 480x360, keeping in mind the screen res of recent BBs. :)

This model is same with the rumour 8910 atlas..but there is no more news about atlas anymore so I think rim won't release atlas but they will change tho series..

with everyone saying that 80% blackberry owners will swap their blackberry for the new iphone 4, sadly that's yet to be seen more people are going to use blackberry instead of any other smartphone because of it security, no one have been able to hack into the blackberry os.

You are absolutely right for dual SIM! 1 for the BB usage and acts as the primary card, while the other is for the leisure or roaming prepaid alternative...this is one thing that i do hope that will happen in the near future!

Uh, no. Two years ago we were happy with 2mp, a year before was 1.3mp. Pictures looked fine then, they look fine now. Besides, megapixels do not determine quality anyway.

A lot of people like it. Why change a design that people like? Not to mention, OS6 is more touch friendly, and RIM is focusing on only showing OS6 being used on touchscreens (promo and webkit browser demos, etc etc).
