The... moresame problem, but mtp doesn't work either no matter what changing the transfer settings and even force stopping clear cash and clear mtp data still don't work fix this my phone is so slow now and doesn't hold charge for more than 5 hours. i use this for work and its extremely upsetting
This is truly unbelievable that Samsung can be this negligent. The rest of my family uses iphones. I"ve always stood by my Samsung but hard to do at this point & my family is done hearing about the recent issues since I can't even function since the update! When I called Samsung, they did not acknowledge they knew anything about the problem which is more infuriating. If this isn't fixed this week, you'll have just lost a very loyal Samsung customer!
A good update to replace this one would be an update on 29 June 2018 that took my phone back to the previous version. Then post the pictures of the third graders that wrote this horrible code.
Terrible update. My battery does not even last a half day. My texts are very lagging when typing them. Settings changed and do not like newlook. Please go back to previous version or else, iPhone may be my next choice.
You said spacifiv bug fixes - you seem to have every part of the software that worked properly. It now uses power twice as fast and in order to charge the phone has to be turned off and then it takes twice as long to charge. Your programers couldn't find time to test but had time to create new graphics to charging and some kink of a goofy looking clock for the locked screen. Most companies learned years ago to test updates
on REAL devices of the same models being updated!!!!
Just goes to show it doesn't matter how much you pay for your phone you don't have control over it. I have emailed, rung Samsung here in NZ. Told them they needed to talk to whoever to get this latest update fixed, otherwise they will be losing a lot of customers!! I even had a nightmare over this. Hope they fix it soon!! Just terrible! Doesn't get fixed, bye bye Samsung!!
My Samsung s7, keeps prompting me to update. Currently it works perfectly fine without the update. After reading all these comments, I'm not going to update .. ever. Thanks so much everyone.

I've noticed with text messages that the most recent message isn't staying at the bottom of the thread. It makes it very difficult to read a conversation when it jumps around all the time!

All my texts sound the same. Many of my settings have changed. If I wanted a new phone, I would've bought one. So useless and frstrating!!!!
Since the update, I am not receiving my calls, my tone for a text sounds, but there is no message. Thanks a lot for ruining a phone I had for over a year with no issues at all

My blue tooth worked perfect until this update, but not now besides all the other problems mentioned by others. It's a big deal being a truck driver!!!
Ever since update 1 week ago, my phone emits the tone for a message at 6:05 every morning. There is no notification of any kind. The only solution I've found is to turn off the volume every night. I don't like the new look either!
If this is a Samsung tactic to force everyone to buy new devices and crash everything, I can say wholeheartedly that I will never buy another Samsung device. This update has crashed my phone, made it ridiculously slow and I'm beyond disgusted with this whole thing. Whatever team at Samsung that wrote this update and approved the forced upload should be fired immediately.
Software update now has me wondering who I'm getting a text from - I want my customized individual text notifications back!

Galaxy S7 Active kept pestering me to update. I finally let it. Big mistake! Now multiple apps are crashing upon opening. What is happening?!
I have always been an android user and Samsung has always been my choice. After the update today, I can't say I will remain a Samsung user. Why did they have to make these changes??? Photo app is a disaster now. WAZE locks up, I can't access my SD card because the app automatically closes itself before I can access it. Texting is ridiculously slow. If I had the money to buy a new phone, it wouldn't be a Samsung and I would just give this one away because I am fed up! We spend too much money on these phones and the carriers to have to accept these issues.
