how can we get together and start a class action lawsuit against samsung?
The last update drained the battery and now this update drains it even more? my phone dies after one hour, whether it's being used or not. none of the troubleshooting tips work. the phone is only 2 years old and Samsung employees are acting oblivious to the issue.

Latest Update screwed the Battery Life for My S7 edge it turn off at 35% sometimes and at 15% the battery drops from 100% to 50% in a matter of 2 Hrs, tried to put most of the apps to sleep but still!! any Solution?
So is there a real solution? Is anyone suing Samsung? Now my wife's S7 drains from 100% to 20% in about 2 hours, just with basic browsing and texting. Started immediately after the Oreo update was pushed out.

Don't do November update. It's the worst update so far.. Battery life suffered a lot with this new update.
I have a US T-Mobile s7 edge, and had the same problem, tons of lag, won't unlock when entering pin or using a thumbprint, just goes blank and returns to the lock screen, and bad battery drain and standby. The lag was diminished a lot for me by putting it in mid battery saving mode, and turning off background data, but leaving the processor at full speed in the battery saving options. it hasn't fixed it, but it has helped make the phone usable at least. The unlocking issue is tremendously irritating. Phone worked totally fine prior to the "update".
Updated my S7 yesterday... Battery went from 100% to dead in about 5 hours... charged it over night, and it went to 75% in the first hour... 40% in 2 hours... I cleared both the OS System Cache, and the Applications Cache, and put it on a charge cable. (Wireless Charge now can't seem to keep up, if the phone is turned on.)
I'm not real happy about this one.

They maybe able to help you revert tour phone back before the problem started. If you have phone insurance part of your phone plan you can also do a claim to get a replacement phone. I'm purchasing an S7 on Friday. Should I do an update before I ever use the phone so I won't notice changes? Should I not do the update at all? I've heard bad stories so I want to be ahead of the game, per say. Any suggestions? What can I expect with these updates?
The latest update killed my phone, since I cannot charge it. Was working fine and then after the update, battery drained quickly and then when I tried to charge it, nothing. Was hoping to be able to rollback the update, but just chatted with Samsung and they basically told me, that I was stuck and the phone needed servicing.
Updated my S7, seems to work very well. Problem is now my text don't notify me when they come thru. I have the notifications set to high (volume) but still doesn't sound off.
After major android software update yesterday, my S8 phone app stopped working. Restart didn't cure it, but a full shutdown triggered a reboot in SAFE mode and then a restart from that seems to have cured the problem.
Latest upgrade is affecting messages. New ones appear in notifications but when in conversation it appears at random in the conversation. It's ridiculous you can't find the message your replying to!
S7 edge, updated on 21.Nov2018. Switches off unexpectedly. And after it does not switch on again. Connect to changer, it shows 70% battery, switch on in safe mode. then switches back off unexpectedly. Has someone been in touch with samsung?
New update killed my phone.... not a happy samsung customer
Since I updated my Samsung Galaxy S7, my phone has been extremely slow and overheating, thus draining my battery. Plus, random ads keep popping up on my phone when I try to simply reply to a text or call someone. And when I try to use the GPS on my phone, it keeps going off because of the relentless ads. It is very irritating and and pointless, so I've barely been able to use my phone since this update.
