My S7 Edge has been the best phone i have ever had untill this morning. I woke up and my phone had updated to oreo...... I then proceed to call samsung Denmark. They tell me that once a phone has been updated, it can only be unupdated by falshing an earlier OS onto the phone. I will not be purchasing a Samsung product ever again after this.
I hope Samsung reads these..... IÂ’m posting everywhere I can. Same as everyone else.... if you have not updated - DO NOT UPDATE. My phone randomly turns on and off; I get weird pages that open up when I go to text but the worst thing is that it just freezes. I can usually get it to reset but right now my phone is completely frozen and wonÂ’t reset either - itÂ’s useless. Very very unhappy!
The worst update I have ever received Samsung has to have have their head up their butt.
I guess they don't mind if I change the Apple because of their stupid ass update now my phone doesn't work at all thanks a lot Samsung for nothing piece of shit
Bad update, battery drains very fast, phone dings when closing apps and other things not working the way they used to. Please fix fast!!!!!

With the phone and the map as well as the music. This afternoon the bluetooth disconnected and the map froze. In fact, the entire phone was frozen. I had to turn it off and restart it to get it to do anything. While I was driving. Thanks, Samsung.
Oh my Gawd! My phone updated yesterday. It is AWFUL. My phone is almost useless to me now. Apps shutting down and freezing. The phone freezing. The battery life is HORRENDOUS. Samsung has interesting ways of getting people to update their phones. I have been anti-apple for years, but guess what? This girl is switching to iPhone.
There aren't words to describe the hatred I have for Samsung right now. I have loved all of my Samsung phones and never had a problem with any software updates. EVER. Until now. Not only did your update re-format everything, slow down everything, made battery usage crazy etc, worst of all, YOUR UPDATE CORRUPTED MY SD CARD!!!!! Are you seriously going to stick with "the sd card must have gone bad"? You mean to tell me that somehow 1000's of sd cards in Samsung phones all managed to go bad at the same time? That your fecal matter unnecessary software update had NOTHING to do with it? And you offer NOTHING to your customers? Fine. Never again will I buy a Samsung product. Not a phone, a tv, refrigerator, anything that has the Samsung name on it will never see a dime of my money. So disgusted.

I can be on Facebook going down my feed, and if my phone ring it want even switch over I can hear it ringing but the screen is still on fb!!! Horrible!!! I'm so done!!!
My issue is a little different. My phone comes on and looks just slightly different, as you would expect from an update (and hate it and then get used to it and not care and, sometimes, when you're bored, wonder wth?) and all looks okay. Then you open an app (or don't) and the phone restarts. You cannot do anything at all because it restarts every 20 seconds or so. And it is discharging really really fast even though it is plugged in!
I am a little worried about it because I cannot be without a phone for very long from a work standpoint... DO NOT UPDATE IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY
I had oreo update on my samsung 7edge 5 days ago, and I must say IS AWFU!. The battery drains to quickly, phone doesn't work properly after the update and the most imortant THE QUALITY OF PICTURES IS BAD, REALLY BAD. Samsung please fix this problem, or allow us to go back to the previos software, nougat.
Horrible! I used to love my phone & now I hate it. I don't like the look of it. And worst of all, when I'm playing music over Bluetooth in my car - the phone keeps kicking out and I have to put it back in Bluetooth mode!!! Such a pain in the butt!!! Samsung really needs to fix this, ASAP! Is anyone else having the Bluetooth problem??? NEVER had this problem before. And I use my Bluetooth a lot.
My Battery just drains, worse than EVER! phone can be sitting on the desk , and go from 99% to 80% battery in 4 hrs. NO use! this is a bad update... but seems updates are forces, unless you want to continue to ignore the message... that gets old too.
I dont know what they did or why they did it i do know when they did it but i didnt know i knew the same as the person whos in charge at samaung...WOW!!!!Thats all i can say ...WOW!!!!
Seriously, it is worse then before. You could just about take a nap between each command. Now when using the finger print reader it takes all of 5 seconds to finally open the screen. Same thing when opening a app. Yesterday I got a call, pressed to answer right away the call went to voice mail because it would not answer in time. This sucks.
Having all the same issues as what I am seeing posted, so beyond frustrated. Today I went to use phone and ads are now popping up all over. I was texting someone when an ad appeared right in middle of screen! Not happy at all

The... moresame problem, but mtp doesn't work either no matter what changing the transfer settings and even force stopping clear cash and clear mtp data still don't work fix this my phone is so slow now and doesn't hold charge for more than 5 hours. i use this for work and its extremely upsetting
This is truly unbelievable that Samsung can be this negligent. The rest of my family uses iphones. I"ve always stood by my Samsung but hard to do at this point & my family is done hearing about the recent issues since I can't even function since the update! When I called Samsung, they did not acknowledge they knew anything about the problem which is more infuriating. If this isn't fixed this week, you'll have just lost a very loyal Samsung customer!
