My phone worked perfectly before the new update. Updated it this morning because I had no choice. And now nothing will work on my wifi. Do you know how much data that uses up? I can't even use my phone. I shouldn't even be on the internet now.
Whenever I try to use my Internet browse, Google and chrome app, or simply click on a link on facebook. It says, ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED.
I've searched the web, tried a few tricks like clearing my cache. I've tried rebooting my phone and my modem. There was something about DNC settings but nobody explained anything. I've used Iphone for years, and just recently got the Samsung Galaxy S7. That was very stupid of me.
after the update, the battery is draining too fast !!!

I came across 3 different updates I had to go through but all updates seem to be installed. It seems I am using Android Version 6.0.1 Software version G935PVPS4APK1 Hardware version Rev0.7 Security patch Nov 1, 2016 so we will see what happens through the next 24 hours. So far seems to be charging normal now and is not heating percentage on battery seems to be going faster than it did before updates. Moves slick and normal as before and no lagging or freezing. If I don't write anything else on this forum after 12/19 expect that the update worked great for me.
I am updating the update right now on Brand new Galaxy S7 Ede from Sprint. Phone before update charges like a snail. I only made it from 84% to 85% within last 30 minutes. I am noticing only once when the phone overheated so hot it was horrible to even hold it. No freezing issues, no lagging and no abnormal issues. I will keep posted on what I do notice. I have 14 days to return the phone and if this update is bad I am moving to the APPLE IPHONE which is the last thing I want to do but Im def up with these updates especially after the Samsung Note4.

Please do all you guys who are having this issue have contacted Samsung. I have also same issue of battery drainage as you guys have do tell me after this software update. If yes what is Samsung saying about as it is not related to one or two customers it is related to many.
Chiming in also with the sudden occurance of SUPER fast battery drain and painfully slow charging all of a sudden. It's ridiculous.

Took it to the Samsung store, warned me of the possible 2 to 3 week delay and there is a parts shortage worldwide. Also was told there is a chance that it would be replaced not repaired. It took 2 months and over 10 phone calls to get an answer from them(mind you in less than one week I was told I was getting a replacement S7 Edge for my s6, but 2 months for someone to tell me exactly when I was getting it). Now I can't even update the thing in fear the software will be corrupted. Smart switch failed last time, lost all text messages, so I refuse to update the new one in fear I will lose something again or worse still,kill the whole phone!
After the recent updates my mobile s7 edge start freezing and sometimes start by itself.

My phone overheats and even when I'm plugged in using my phone it drains faster than it charges. It also restarts frequently since the update.

Almost not exaggerating!! Super duper annoyed. I checked all my app settings...I'm quite certain it's the update especially if I'm not the only one Complaining about these issues. Also my phone is freezing mid app or between app changes. This update needs improvement 😠
