Beyond disapointed. I have bifocal glasses and the new changes make the notification and settings pages icons very pale and all but impossible to recognize.
and the phone contacts page is like reading off a white sheet of paper.
Not too happy with the update at all...my battery power doesn't seem to last and Wi-Fi keeps disconnecting in public places that have Wi-Fi like Wal-Mart so if you utilise Wal-Mart pay good luck using it now
samsung -read these blogs and now understand the huge mistake you have made with this unusable update. get to work and reinstate the user friendly version prior to this dreadful version. you owe this to us... your samsung family... cut your losses and get to work, otherwise 'apple it will be'

Agreed! This update is horrible and it great diminishes battery performance! I always had my phone set on power saving mode and it took me a while to figure out the new 'performance' options. The new icons are ugly, and altering the functionality so much is a real slap to loyal customers. Hate. It.

i get a system updatemesage to install on my samsung S7 aon march 27 2017 to my phone that was working perfectly fine and just reach 1 yr that i purchased it and i installed the update on march 27 at 12 58pm only to hear that camera taking a picture by itself when it was on the table and i went to see what was going on the screen went completely black still on for 3 minutes was trying to hit the home button then it went to camera and went to a blue green red screen and i tried to power it off the power off restart screen came up but i couldn t press the power off or the restart button it froze and stood like that for awhile then went to black screen and on the bottom were your home button is was flicking the square boxes on the left and the arrow on the right lighting up on and off while the screen was black and it wouldn t let me power of finally after 15 minutes of this and it would go to the home screen back to the black screen back to the camera finally got on the home screen and a message saying .com.samsung.unified.dsettings .com and i kept closing it but it kepts coming on every 2 minutes looked it up and nothing on this message took phone were i got it that morning on the 28 at 9:35 am the manager of the provider called samsung tech support was on the phone with tech support for 3 hours trying to reboot the phone but still couldn t fix the issue that the system update caused and spoke to managers in tech support and executives at samsung corperate office finally came to the manager of the service provider uninstalled a app that she thought was casuing the issue phone work till the next morning got that message and black screen again it did what it did before call corperate office again spoke to 2 people all day and samsung is trying to put us the customer responsible for theresoftware system update malfunctioning cause they kept telling me about there warrenty and i said were did i sign up/were does it state in your warrenty when i purchase this s7 phone when it first came out feb 2016 that i would be held countable for your software programs systen updates that malfunction perfectly working phones and cause them to go crazy not to mention i paid 600.00 for this phone and its just 1 yrs old and still owe 300.00 and this happened to my phone i was watching the news march 30 and they just announced the release of the new s8 and i pleaded with the executives and tech and forgot that the one lady in the executive corperate office who stated to me she worked under the vice president of th company cause i asked for them HUNG UP ON ME i asked for a new s7 and it has the old system which is lollipops once the software system updates are installed u can never get the old one back everyone in the tech dept manager of tech dept, executive offices in the corperate office thats y i pleaded for another s7 new phone and i would try to transfer my stuff when the phone decides to works and not update the system software update and they all kept resiting the same thing to me there warrenty policies now the phone is broke cause of the samsung system software update that malfuncted my prefectly working phone thats just turned a yr in march 2017 and samsung its resiting there warrenty policies on the phone and holding us the customer who is or paid 600.00 for there phone for there malfuncting system software update THANKS Samsung its funny how 3 days after ur malfuncting system software update comes out the S8 is released broke phone samsung corperate office dont care to help you they just try to politely in other word blame the customers and they dont care how much or what you owe on there Products and dont own up to there malfunctioning system software update going to make a fcc complaint as well as contacting all the news channels thanks for nothing SAMSUNG EXECUTIVE CORPORATE OFFICE

This update is terrible!!! Keyboard so much harder to use for some reason. Hate that i can't change my message bubble colours back to how they were and hate how if it is a long message i can't see the whole message now unless i select it. Lots more i don't like but i seriously Can't be bothered using this rubbish keyboard to try an type anymore!
o... m... g... this update us the worst. the fonts are ugly, my emails are all jumbled up, editing pictures are a pain now (i edit picture all day), the data icon can't be moved to the shirtcut ( now i have to click 3 things before turning my data on and off)... there 's more. i'm just too upset to list everything
Got this new update and I am disappointed seriously.... emojis come up unreadable blocks... predict text is a complete mess when trying to type it keeps switching my words.. some of my apps no longer work and now won't even allow me to reinstall them on top of all this...please undo this mess...

Got to agree with everyone here - this update is horrible! I cannot understand what the point is to change all the colours and fonts. The keyboard is even different and harder to use. I won't be getting another Samsung if this is the look of the future.
