SE Fan, 27 Jul 2010@iphone4fan That was a brave attempt to cloak the faults. I wonder if apple comes up with... moreIncorrect adaptive interfacing by reviewers/vocal early adopters
is whats causing all this over-reaction.
Change is always hard, shame a small % of people that just can't evolve.

This hype and fear of simple change is whats driving this madness that
attacks Apple's core values , yes pun intended. The core of Apple has always been adaptive to the market to understand them, and if a simple
case helps, so be it.

That was a brave attempt to cloak the faults.
I wonder if apple comes up with an External antenna for the i-phone-4, would you still stand by your opinion.
    I'd love to see a Yagi-uda INSTALLED on every ifan's head :)

      'adaptive interfacing'

Adapt your level of phone handing to involve the product to perform at it's peck level.ie the antenna system design is range searching.

      'poor or incorrect adaptive interfacing'

Poor understanding and involvement of your product will cause the same poor result. Interfacing incorrectly on the Antenna strip separator will produce poor ranging results.

Simple and part of the known evolution of products, which Apple,
and there CEO is bring forth into this industry, build upon decades of experience.

I again would like Other here to join me in thanks to Apple as we both enjoy this adaptive interfacing future with our products.

You are spot on. Time to market is an important business strategy especially if one is competing in a very tight market. Imagine if Apple decided to wait till the flaws were fixed before launching it into the marketplace. They will not just loose money but also their competitive edge. Other makers would then be quick to clone the design and grab the market share. What Apple did was smart but unethical.

I think Apple should ve included an antenna just like that of radio in making this Icrap4. Haha... it may sounds funny but it s the only way.

when i swallowed the iphone 4 as part of a mad bet to win the european egg cup of stupidity, i was able to make a call to emergency services when i realised i could not 'pass' said iphone.
The call quality was a bit muffled though.

Industry, 27 Jul 2010I work in a phone store in the London, UK. It doesn't matter what anybody on this forum say... moreI believe you. Apple is probably the best example of marketing success. The brand is well established and stands out to people who don't know jack about phones. You can be sure that almost all iphone 4 owners don't know much about phones, otherwise they would get a HTC or Nokia which offers more features for lower price. This is all the more reason to make people aware of the antenna issue and other serious limitations.

It doesn't matter what anybody on this forum says or thinks.

We CANNOT SELL ENOUGH iPhone 4's. Honestly. You've never seen demand for a phone like this before in your life - but most of you don't work in the industry. Customers ask for this phone all day, every day. Business customers and Standard Consumer customers. Old and Young.

What Steve Jobs said during the Apple Financial Report last week is true.

EVERY SINGLE IPHONE 4 UNIT SELLS ALMOST IMMEDIATELY. 16 or 32 Gb, it does not matter. Every single unit gets sold.

16Gb not in stock? Okay the customers choose to pay extra and buys the 32Gb. The high price maybe drives a few people to get a cheaper 3GS - but not many.

Antenna problem or not - the iPhone 4 will probably be the most successful premium smartphone in history. Don't believe me? Wait for Orange UK's, O2 UK and Vodafone UK's financial figures to show you.

Apple this is just the beginning.

Now itz only the German Foundation which is incharge of testing stuff, has mentioned how flawed the freaking IPhone 4 is. There is still more to come.

Wait and watch, third World countries, countries in Africa for example, would not be able to tolerate this flawed IPhone 4 and would also do such testings and put up consumer reports.

Where are the freaking IFans? Are they sleeping or are they catching fish?

What do you IFans have to say?

Serves the 3 of you right(IFan/ Apple/ Steve)

Yes serves you right as well Ifan, for buying a flawed phone and for being insulted on how to hold a phone the right.

Steve Jobs, what are you going to squeeze next.

Dump the freaking IPhone 4 and get the N8, or incase you are interested in something in Android, then get something in HTC, probably HTC Desire. There is something called as Dignity, which you freaking IFans should have. Even Steve Jobs knows that, and that is why is secondary ph is Nokia, which he flaunts when the media people are not around.

Just imangined if he used to IP4, all he would end up with his dropped calls and the company Apple would DIE.

I guess the engineer who designed the IP4 Antenna was highly drunk and designed the Antenna in the Bar, & that's why such a big freaking Flaw came up.

Now what happened abt the white IPhones. Hope IMacs are still available in white or they wud say white is OUT OF STOCK so go for BLACK. Aaaahhh this reminds me of cars, wherein ur FAv colour wud not b available and the waiting period wud b long, lol..

Anyways, white is the symbol of PURE. Since IP4 is Flawed, it's hence not pure, so white is not avail. LOL!!

                                    Have a nice day ahead.

                                    Cheers!!
