Anonymous, 27 Jul 2010wow....... Another stupid symbian. This is yet another boring device which the finns would use to squeeze more market share by pushing the price down; capturing a real low end market and retain the number 1 spot. What the finns fail to realise is that the world is moving towards an APP driven platform. What does OVI has to offer? Perhaps, OVI should extend its arms out further...hmmm...
Nokia has a top device in the works. Its irrational and illogical to see their releasing new low end smartphones as unseriousness. Parallel production of low end phones won't affect the release date of the n8. What then is wrong in nokia moving to dominate the lowend /midrange segment?
If you don't like a model, move on. There are hundreds of then. You shouldn't expect everyone to suit you or condemn it when it doesn't. Nokia won't be making the phone if it didn't have a market.
Symbian S60v5 gets boring after a few days.. Nothing special, at least from Symbian..
R, 27 Jul 2010Man, I had so much respect to Nokia. They're moving so slow now, they used to be the fastest.Yup agreed. They are far behind competitions. Other handsets are gaining ground in absence of agressive step of nokia. Nokia fans are searching for better alternatives. But nokia, they are happy with nHD resolution, 434 mhz processor and symbian^1. It seems to me nokia is capable of introducing high end handsets but they are not willing to do so. Sad part of all these is n8 isnt released yet and lets not talk about meego. I want to upgrade my nokia handset. Can you suggest true succesor for n97 for me now?
dj7, 27 Jul 2010Hey guys, a touch phone with cool look and all contemporary features for just 100 Euro must be... moreYes, my point is same. If price is such low, one shouldn't ask for fancy features.
[deleted post]Yes, cheap cellphones sells like hot cakes in developing countries. Thanks to Nokia. Apart from Nokia, its only Samsung selling low end touch phones in Indian market but they are just java based feature phones. Symbian smartphone at 100 euros is a real deal.
Hey guys, a touch phone with cool look and all contemporary features for just 100 Euro must be a steal. All the college going crowd can buy them easily. And BTW, Symbian 5th edition is not a bad OS. Much better than most of the Mobile OSs available. If you guys are only talking about look and feel there are about a million themes to change the way the UI looks.
Anonymous, 27 Jul 2010iphone 4 is epic fail. All other phones in market can beat it as they don't drop call however ... moreNope its an innovative handset by igod. He made such a great antenna design by which you can end a call with one touch. Lol !
Man, I had so much respect to Nokia. They're moving so slow now, they used to be the fastest.

This must be next iphone killer by nokia after 5800xm, n97, mini and x6. lmao!
Nokia, dont worry about apple. They are back with suicidal bag(iphone 4). Do focus on desire, xperia and galaxy killers, after that may be you guys will retain lost market share. Otherwise being well wisher I can only wish you, "RIP nokia"... :P
