No chances against ZUK Z2 Pro or ZUK Z2, they will be way much cheaper for quality.

Merwyn Fernandes, 26 May 2016ZTE may well go on be HTC's successor if HTC continue their ways It's now or never for HTCIt is nice, pity it does not have image stabilization. I really like HTC build and stylish design on the 10. Their updates with the A9 have been regular and on time. Quality is timeless.
AnonD-56158, 26 May 2016Wonder why zte phones never achieve the same popularity like huawei and lenovo?Lack of software support?!? I think that is one reason.
AnonD-491921, 26 May 2016Wow Zte should make the next nexus.Just get a zte axon 7 with stock androidZTE is pretty well known to have slow updates for their phones. So, perhaps because of that?
On the other hand, I'm hoping for a manufacturer to make a new Nexus 7 with Nvidia Tegra X1, similar to how Asus made it in the past with an older Tegra chip. The only one so far with that chipset is Google themselves with Pixel C
Anonymous, 26 May 2016impressive hardware LOL...this is same hardware for almost all flagshipsYes it is the same, but the price tag isn't. The last gen Axon flagship went for $350 brand new.
Apparently, this is touted as the first VR ready phone for Google Daydream VR.
I have to agree about the HTC 10 comparison. This design should have been HTC 10. HTC shot themselves in the foot but credit have to be given to ZTE for getting Dolby.
Only issue: I'm still liking LG V10 for its full video manual recording options. If Axon 7 has that, I might consider it but somehow I've yet to see any current flagship that has the removable battery,SD expansion slot and manual video recording in one package. So, perhaps the only reason I might buy this is the price.

wow everything u want in a smart phone - i hope all the hardware is up to the task -
Tourettes Guy, 26 May 2016Well okay it's not a bad thing. But I want them to improve battery life more than the amout of... moreyeah thats true, battery life is more important than 6gb ram. and also i hope oem focuses more on software optimization for performance rather than depending more on flagship hardware, and of course, to make sure the software updates alive for 2-3 years maybe.
Wonder why zte phones never achieve the same popularity like huawei and lenovo?
Great looking phone. Battery is not huge but above average. SD820 can help battery life as well, but the hi res display will likely still be a drain. Need to wait and see how the battery life turns out - this is my number one criterion.
This will make waiting for the Note 7 even harder! Gorgeous phone with all the specs I care about :-)
AnonD-402029, 26 May 2016probably yes. ram is getting cheaper and why not 6gb? 6gb ram has the ability to eat consumer.Well okay it's not a bad thing. But I want them to improve battery life more than the amout of RAM. Multitasking is perfect on 4GB already but that can only be achieved with a great software optimization
Not going to happen. ZTE can forget about jumping on the big league bandwagon if they continue with this "we don't care about Android updates" attitude. They need to give better support for existing phones!
impressive hardware LOL...this is same hardware for almost all flagships
