NJ, 29 May 2016I think Google should start issuing notices to the companies which delays Android Updates. No ... moreGoogle created all this mess, do you think he will fix that?
updated my Z5 to marshmallow..not a big deal , nothing new in MM except for performance improvement now waiting for the STAMINA mode to be back because doze sucks big time .
Im still waiting marshmallow for my s5 octa-core.
I think Google should start issuing notices to the companies which delays Android Updates. No phone company is successful without Android OS and Google has a great advantage here. If the companies fails to provide on time updates then Google should withdraw their services. It should be valid to all the mobile companies in the world which is running Android.
Still on KitKat 😃
AnonD-124236, 29 May 2016My SONY Xperia Z5 Premium Dual Chrome came with Marshmallow out of the box...My oneplus one 16gb sandstone JBL limited edition is running CM13. pffft. do you need to mention all that long name ? showing off is what you are doing arent you ? we get it, your phone is expensive. Z5 premium is enough.
you should also include Cyanogenmod in the poll. I installed CM13 / Android 601 and my 5 years old Moto Razr is like new!!!
Still waiting Android M, many Android M ROM MOD contain bugs. I'm OK if I will get Stable Android M ROM.
Still waiting for marshmallow on my Xperia M5 :(
My SONY Xperia Z5 Premium Dual Chrome came with Marshmallow out of the box...
CM12.1 here. Kind of unfortunate my E975 didn't get CM13 (while the Nexus 4 did and is essentially just a "version" of the same phone by LG), but that is just life...
Personally the very first thing I check before buying a phone is for official CM support (or if it's easy to compile AOSP from source). With the frequent Nexus Security Bulletins, I wouldn't buy a phone any other way.
There are many Marshmallow custom ROMs out there for Lenovo A6000 Plus but all of them still not stable enough for daily use..... so i'll stick to CM12.1 for awhile.
Eh, results will be skewed, because anyone interested enough to browse gsmarena is more likely to know how to pick a phone that's either up to date or having more chances of getting upgrades, compared to general population.
Rekcus, 29 May 2016No Option för Android N!? Running Android N Beta.Maybe because Android N is still in beta.
I have the latest 6.0.1 with this month's security update on my Nexus 6, I could always update to N beta. :)
