If your question is, 'To launch or not to launch?', you might want to hold on longer for an official announcement/unveiling from ASUS. Only they have the authority to follow their old alleged internal document or scrap it all completely
Merwyn Fernandes, 30 May 2016Huawei is only company you can compare with Asus and Huawei aren't even trust worthy they have... moreHuawei stands 3rd in shipments done last quarter as far as I remember. So they are definitely trustworthy.
And About Meizu they can be compared though they don't have enough market share but they do have some solid phones in their camp.
AnonD-468210, 30 May 2016I own Oneplus One it has Cyanogenmod in it.
And it's ridiculous. I do agree it's buttery smo... moreCyanogenmod and cyanogen os are two different things cyanogenmod is maintained by a particular developer who works on it everyday so new updates each and every day
On the other hand oneplus one shipped with cyanogen os and the company had to ditch that for their own rom because cyanogen was too late in updates and stability
CYANOGEN Os is from cyanogen Inc the company which was founded by the makers of cyanogenmod here this rom is like a manufacturer rom which installed stock in most devices it's not a custom Rom Here all work is done by cyanogen inc and updates are relased only once in few months hence there is no scope of fixing updates daily you have to wait for an official fix
I have cyanogenmod mod and other roms on most of the devices I own and I have not faced any problems till today they much better than the stock rom here most complaints are handled by the developers very fast and they have lot more features than stock rom

However they should... moreOr you could wait for their official announcements on their upcoming Laser/Max successor (if they are to follow their old internal documents), internally codenamed: Capricorn - ZC600KL. Disclaimer: Final/official product code may turn out different when the final product launches officially, that is, if it is even going to launch at all. If ASUS' patterns are to be meticulously followed, I'm holding on to the idea that ASUS might not switch Laser and/or the Max model names to some model name completely anew to consumers. I'm not holding on 'supposed to be's' here
AnonD-468210, 30 May 2016As far as I know custom roms are not as stable as Official Rom provided provided with Phones
... moreHuawei is only company you can compare with Asus and Huawei aren't even trust worthy they have been caught earlier for purposely shipping with malware in their phones
Secondly Meizu is nowwhere near
Regarding custom roms I think you know very less about custom they are some snapshots and stable releases available for custom which are much better than most of the skins from LG, Samsung etc etc(most of them lag and have huge memory management issue's) CyanogenMod for eg relases stable builds every month with security updates which no other manufacturer does
Merwyn Fernandes, 30 May 2016There is something known as snapshots and stable relases for custom roms if you don't know whi... moreI own Oneplus One it has Cyanogenmod in it.
And it's ridiculous. I do agree it's buttery smooth but hey it has lots of glitches and app crashes
When I first bought it. It had camera app crash when manual shutter speed was set the app would crash once u hit shutter button. I mean not crash but it would freeze I had to force reset the phone.
Thereafter I faced many gallery app crashes. The phone turned slow as timed pass which was recently after marshmallow update its running good now.
But recently it fails to detect double taps. When kept in pant pockets it automatically turns on random clicks phone gets warm with light usage.
Now compared it to other phones my family members most of them being Samsung they don't face such issues. Yeah touchwiz being not that buttery smooth but no such issues. And hey Dad's Note5 is very smooth no glitches here and there

SD 625, 652 and 820 are all battery efficient, unlike the Intel ones in Zenfone 2 series. Only camera is the question mark. Waiting for GSM review after launch to decide on camera.
sigh.... so many 5.5inch devices out there, and no once cares about 4.7 or 5 inch. In my opinion the market is too flooded, and so many options and price ranges for 5.5. Better find "niche" 5inch
Great.really great.best specifications in this price range. designs r also good.Ausu will gain more marketshare with these phones.
Sounds very interesting devices with new processors and enough RAM and other features.
Give me zenfone 3 deluxe damn.I hope they not let fans down just like zenfone 2.they camera should be good also the battery.the last zenfone zoom and zenfone2 suck in came and battery.
haphap, 30 May 2016wth asus make those huge phones ??? 5.7" and 6.8" seriously ? no one will buy that...Looks better than htc 10 and s7.
SDKforLumia, 30 May 2016Now beat this Samsung, HTC..Samsung and HTC will have better benchmark results than ASUS with 6 GB RAM
