AnonD-130610, 31 May 2016Yeah and high price processors, only for rich people buy them. You don't guess that they are a... moreHonestly that thing has more power then youll need personally right now, unless your going to use intel virtual tehnology or something like that.
AnonD-404798, 31 May 2016hahahaha I'm also laughing at his post , but it could be possible probably on 7 inch phablet ... morei'm guessing like one of those VR backpacks?
btw i find it funny that the other guy wants this cpu in smartphones the next year. i hope he was joking.
but if you come to think about it, maybe a T or a U version of this chip coupled with water-cooling and maybe it could be put on a mobile phone. the phone would need a large battery to just stay on for maybe 1-2 hours. smh mobile technology has a long way to go. i'd say 10 years minimum.
imagine editing videos with this beast....
too bad about the cost :P
U won't be able to see it on any handphone even U imagining that they'll have low power model since they're closing down the mobile division.
Now that Intel after spending billions of dollars has given up on bending their current architecture to fit mobile then they should either jump on the ARM bandwagon like Qualcomm or if their heads are too big for that then start over on a new CPU architecture for mobile to compete with ARM. But forget about silly small stuff like this new 10 core power hungry inefficient baby sitter.
ognoga, 31 May 2016Good joke mate, it will be in smartphones when ypur grandchildren will be bornYou are wrong. This processing power for phones is only about 10 years ahead. As today's mobile CPUs are equal to PC CPUs from 10 years ago.
AnonD-523334, 31 May 2016Do you even know something man!!!!!? What a joke. Also expect a nvidia gtx blah blah graphics ... morehahahaha I'm also laughing at his post , but it could be possible probably on 7 inch phablet that is all made out of copper 20 mm thick and with 2x 90mm huge fans mounted on the rear :) .. and to power such device one simply could carry UPS in his back pack ....
AnonD-130610, 31 May 2016Yeah and high price processors, only for rich people buy them. You don't guess that they are a... moreYes, of course! I am just saying that they aren't just about numbers, like... Say... Mediatek. Their 2.5 ghz 10 core is slower than kirins 8x2.2, even when Huawei aren't any good.
AnonD-523334, 31 May 2016Absolutely. They were always with quality, and now quality+quantity. I think he only one. Yeah and high price processors, only for rich people buy them. You don't guess that they are a bit thieves? I know what it is. They don't have no competition to them, it is why they keep and increase the price of their processors. They are disgusting.
Anonymous, 31 May 2016if you have this in ur phone, that means u can use ur phones to cook egg..Wrong, his metallic htc will already be molten.
Anonymous, 31 May 2016Can't wait to have this on my smartphone.. Pls HTC or Moto bake this processor into your next ... moreDo you even know something man!!!!!? What a joke. Also expect a nvidia gtx blah blah graphics card in ur phone.
mir, 31 May 2016Go and check out how powerful each of those cores are. Then come back if you can still say tha... moreAbsolutely. They were always with quality, and now quality+quantity. I think he only one.
Intel processors only for rich people. And me thinking that i bought a core i7 920 at 7 years ago for the equivalent to $275(€275). Intel has been increasing the price of top chipset processors, inflating year after year, bunch of thieves!!! In once of drop the price of the hexa-core processors which already exist to 6 years ago, they keep the same price tag. Hexa-core should be mid-range now in this time.
Hot on the footsteps of MediaTek, Intel also releases a 10-core CPU.
...and the power adapter and the batteries are coming at the back of a truck...
