AnonD-442781, 01 Jun 2016Maybe, it just sounds a little too good to be true though to be honest. Even though I think it... moreWell the problem is through out the years we've been ripped off by such high $650+ prices by the old guard OEMs that if we see prices < $400 to $500 we think that OEMs are cutting corners.
Thanks to some of these Chinese OEMs for making well specced and well designed devices that cost $300-$500. They've totally disrupted the mobile phone market.

Tachito, 02 Jun 2016I would've really liked front facing speakers though. i'm not sure why this isn't a standard b... moreI really love the design and specs of the OP3, but I presently have the Axon 7 with badass stereo ffs coupled with impressive specs, design and build quality..top on my list. Will love to compare both devices on battery stamina, in hand feel, camera and price.
I hope the 3140mAh battery of the Axon 7 will not disappoint..love that phone. We shall see.
and the price will be less than $300. mmm.. look at Zuk Z2.
What is the thickness?! I would like to have 3.9mm. I don't mind even if the battery is only 1000mAh :|
looks like old HTC... sigh...

Well done, OnePlus. Overall great design hopefully the price is right too
Khrist, 01 Jun 2016Where? Name one?vivo xplay 5 ultimate, asus zenfone 3 deluxe, zte axon 7, zuk z2 pro, leeco le max 2,
even new brands like vernee:vernee apollo
even budget brands are attempting 6gb ram : cubot s9 and oukitel k6000premium
It looks like another quite generic phone, I'm not impressed about the looks. Battery @ 3000mAh is not good, big long lasting battery would have been paramount. Camera, average? 6gigs of RAM is great.
Anonymous, 01 Jun 2016most brands these days are offering 6GB RAM aint no big dealWhere? Name one?
Anonymous, 01 Jun 2016You have to "Settle" for the ugly design though.Never settle. Just sell the phone once you get bored with it.
Im very excited to see more amoled displays

Nice! Major step forward!
Now all is left is for OnePlus to support an official Cyanogenmod ROM (the opensource version, not the proprietary one from Cyanogen) and we will truly have ourselves a flagship killer.
Anonymous, 01 Jun 2016If you are going to best other flagships, it makes sense to put in a larger battery than all o... moreEspecially since it's a 5.5inch screen. The dimensions can favour a larger with a little sacrifice in thickness.
Samsung was able to put a 3600Mah battery in the 5.5inch Galaxy S7Edge and 3000mah for the 5.1inch S7
