It will perfect its duo octacore with 5000mah battery, waterproof, and fm radio
I will repost my comment from Oneplus 3 section:
If we look back on Zenfone 2, I've had a fair amount of gripes.
Display: It was inaccurate of grey shades and inefficient on power draw in addition to its back light LED. Fell short against IPS LCD competitors.
ZenUI: custom is on the heavy side like HTC's SenseUI and Samsung's Touchwiz. They like in-depth redesign of Android material on a system level. Of course it's obvious that a slow update is to be expected. Zenfone users are tempted with alternative ROMS with that.
Camera: Omnivision(front) & Toshiba(rear) wasn't a good mix. Or rather wasn't good at all. Focus latency is slow, pictures are cropped 10MP 16:9 from 13MP 4:3(software), limited ISO for manual. Even for an aggressive pricing for a flagship, a botched camera is a taboo.
Now that Zenfone 3 is on the frontlines, it got Super AMOLED 1920x1080, updated and improved ZenUI 3.0 and 23MP Sony IMX318. We'll see what happens and hope they'll get it right this time.
i am using Zenfone 5 T00J the first model of ASUS. for the last two year a flawless performance ( issue of battery only). now 3000mah battery will remove that also. one of the good phone.
Beaufiful design of zenfone 3, love it. it is my next target.
Note the moment with 5, this will be my next device Zenfone 3 deluxe since it has everything you lacked dese SuperAmoled with SD820 and 6GB of ram. already conquered me!
dexterouz, 02 Jun 2016That's a weird fingerprint reader. If it's for scrolling too then it can make some sense. It's the strangest looking fingerprint sensor I ever saw that's for sure, and Motorola's new sensors too.
this phone is beautiful and it must be powerful too, well done. i think i love it.

problem is Asus has gone too high with the price and also zenfone2 looks better then zenfone3... in terms of look and design.... rubbish Asus...you have become greedy !!!
I am a bit skeptical about its OS overlay and camera. It's custom ZenUI is a bit on the heavy side and notorious on updates. The camera from Zenfone 2 needs a rework as it is 'underwhelming' as per several reviews.

It seems that asus stops on using Intel chips
Performance wise Intel chip used on is great already pretty comparable with snapdragon 801
The chipset itself is fast and so the gpu
It may be an ugly duckling outside and it is for me
And the major redesign or change of materials is welcome
And because it is rumored to have s823 it can compete with other hi end flagships
Sounds tempting, but I can't live using a phone with an ugly home button.

can't believe that ASUS as well started doing nonsense hybrid bussiness out there.....!
