What about the price of this baby in Europe? Unlocked... 400US$ is something like 304€!? Cool! Or not, considering the fact that RIM (and other man.) "upgrade" the price of unsubsidized terminals in Europe.

In my opinion this is just another dull dull dull RIM handse3t, they are all so similar and dull, nothing interesting about them at all. i would love rim to bring a properly interesting phone. zzzzzzzz

Incase you do not want BB, then go in for an HTC Android ph, you would not regret that. Else, another option wud b the Nokia N8.

RIM Lover, 09 Aug 2010BlackBerry makes the best smartphones in the world, second is Android, Apple 3rd, Symbian 4th.... morehuh? Symbian 4th? that only in us market. for real world market Symbian still 1st.
BlackBerry makes the best smartphones in the world, second is Android, Apple 3rd, Symbian 4th.
I have the 8520 and it rules all other smartphones except for higher specked BlackBerry devices. The 9300 is definitely my next phone. My only criticism regarding BlackBerry phones are the lack of a FM radio, please RIM do not be like Apple and exclude it from future devices.
I don't understand, The Curve 8900, is the oldest in that series, but still technically more advanced. I would have thought that they'd build on the 8900 as opposed to make cheaper versions. I'm thinking about going over to a different type anyways, but it's never made much sense. Why start whole new model, and design, that really out shined out and was on par with the original bold, and then dumb it down?
Nice phone.
