Also, Android is a security threat to any company, plus these devices are not reliable. There are countless problems with email sync - except if it's Gmail (which no respectable company or individual would use) - and many, many other annoyances that make Android devices fit only for basic users who do light tasks on their phones/tablets.

dladz, 09 Jun 2016Anyone actually still buy windows? I'd buy a Windows phone over any Android phone anytime.

I guess it's because I've always liked devices that don't lag, don't crash apps, don't need restarts/factory resets, etc. and are also smooth, have advanced features, are secure, and have the most advanced user interface currently available on the market.

Im waiting for 5-5.5 inch, 2 or 4 GB ram, 3000+ mAh, 32 minimum storage Windows Phone then I will replace my L640 XL. I dont like 3GB ram 16GB storage I cant explain why. Im more attracted to 1GB ram + 8GB storage, 2GB ram + 32GB storage, 4GB ram + 64GB storage and 8GB ram (soon) + 128GB storage. No to 1.5, 3 and 6GB ram, 4 and 16GB storage.

What part of 1% don't they understand? I hear of companies choosing Windows over android and I'm scratching my head. At this point nobody is buying them , not even Microsoft fans, it was a move that basically destroyed Nokia, why is the rest do it too?

I am a happy Windows mobile user. It is good and robust OS, with well defined ecosystem. The only problem is the lack of phone offers. The only there more ANdroids in the market is that there more phones to choose from. Thas all, no comparative advantage in favour of Android in terms of technical details. WM required less powerful hw to run smoothly, still having same functionality. UWP will allow developers to port there game from win10 to mobile, so all apps will be available. It can be clearly seen today.

And a couple of other things:
- No open security wholes for years
- No viruses, no virus from store
- Fast development and frequent updates

on L950 and L950XL
- Iris scanner - can use it during Winter without having to remove your gloves...
- dedicated camera/shutter button

I think the HP Elite will be a real brakethrough specially if they will a smaller version of it too.

swirly, 09 Jun 2016Why are you implying that 5% of customers are the same as 5% of the total population? Of c... moreI clearly stated "CUSTOMERS" not everybody. And the other guy had to divide the whole population by half. Neither of us referred to 5 percent of total world population. That's the point of his calculation which should not be taken literally because nobody knows the exact amount of people in the world. Even 5 percent of ONLY windows phone customers is still in millions talk more of 5% phone customers.

"So you think that this phone will attract about 5% of mobile phone customers..."

Do those 'mobile phone customers' count for the total population of the planet? Absolutely not! Not all 7 billion people buy smartphones, and you know it. But still, I'd give you 3/10 for the calculation effort.

dladz, 09 Jun 2016Anyone actually still buy windows? Absolutely. After switching to Windows Phone i never looked back. Android is utter joke for simple minded people. Maybe M and N are better (never tried them so i have no idea) but anything below is crap.

swirly, 09 Jun 2016When the amount of people that this device attracts counts for like 5% amongst customers at mo... moreSo you think that this phone will attract about 5% of mobile phone customers and you think that means it will fail? Lets do some maths here. There are currently as a rough guide around 7 billion people living on Planet Earth. Lets remove half of those as either being children or not requiring mobile phones. That leaves 3.5 billion. 5% of that is 175 Million. Pretty sure NuAns executives would be laughing all the way to the bank if they sold that many handsets - certainly would not be a failure!

"The highly anticipated NuAns NEO mobile phone was first spotted at the 2016 Consumer Electronic Tradeshow in Las Vegas in early January"...
