Dovice , 11 Jun 2016Oh poor Americans, still conned by your evil 'airtime' providers, or to put it more honestly, ... moreAmericans, love to be ripped off. They wear it with a badge of honor. They even elect politicians, like Hillary Clinton, to continue the corporatist favoritism that have gotten us to this point.
they are aren't a lot of good stuff with Verizon and sprint thou. so why bother? hello''moto/?
You can get it to work with net10! They have the BYOP the byop sims for only $1. they've partnered with the top four carriers. The only difference is the cost, they are a lot more cheaper,

Grey1213, 10 Jun 2016Its meant to be used with an attachment and its incredibly thin. That hump will be gone once you put a style mod.
Anonymous, 11 Jun 2016G5 is much batter good-looking. :)You, my friend, is the only one on this planet who thinks like that. Both moto z and z force look awesome.

It's hard for me to... moreMotorola has already confirmed that both the phones would be sold unlocked and would run on t mobile and us cellular. Verizon will sell it under droid name. So basically all Americans would be able to use these phones.
JF69, 11 Jun 2016Who cares, both these phones are a complete FAIL. Are you crazy?? These phones are awesome and with motomods, these are like super phones.
Super phone within price range 15K, finger touch sensor rightly placed, Camera permomace
best class within price range of 25K of other phones..no heating problem I found after
using of 15 days. Worthy buying Moto G4 Plus with blind folded eyes...
>Think about it, before the Moto Z, Verizon had its own exclusive Droid line of devices that were otherwise unavailable in the US if you didnÂ’t buy them through Verizon.
The DROID Maxx 2 was made available to regional US carriers under its normal name, Moto X Play.
Who cares. Most people in the US get their phones from the carriers, so this is a non issue.
This phone is sadly such a step backwards from the previous Moto X phones. It's hard for me to imagine how it's a benefit to Motorola to restrict the market for its phone to only one carrier in the U.S. After the couple month exclusivity period is up, the next latest and greatest phone will be out (like the next Nexus) and no one will care about the Moto Z. The period in which most sales are possible is those first couple months.
And I don't see why the Droid line is such a big deal to Verizon. It's hard for me to imagine anyone chooses Verizon, just so they can get the Droid phones.
The Moto X phones were great. Great design, nice features, good size, good middle ground price. The Moto Z has some interesting features, but I just don't see the overall point of it. It seems more like one of those passing gimmicks.
Oh poor Americans, still conned by your evil 'airtime' providers, or to put it more honestly, thieves. You pay for your INCOMING calls, and your phones don't work even when unlocked! There is good capitalism, and there is bad capitalism, if you want good capitalism, come to the EU or buy an iPod Touch or swich your phone to airplane mode, and then re-enable WiFi, and use free hotspots to communicate with people, rather than the airtime thieves. Off grid is the way to go.
There is two types of mods that can be magnetically attached to the back of the Moto Z. There is style modes that are thin and are mainly for looks, with some offering wireless charging. Then there is mods that add functionality, like a battery module, or a pico projector, stereo speakers with an extra battery, and more to come.
Anonymous, 10 Jun 2016Was in love with the design until I saw that camera hump.Wow!Really???Its meant to be used with an attachment and its incredibly thin.
