after going from a samsung Galaxy to a Blackberry I really am impressed
WhaT Blackeberry shoould have done is launched thism phone at the USD $450 to $500 as it was way overpriced
Samsung LG Sony could have demanded $600 for the exact same specs as a priv and many Android enthusiast would have jumped at.
Blackberry owners are simply not impresses with the Priv at they lose all the BB Os features, (indeed I am NOT looking forward to any Blackberry Android phone)
At the same time Blackberry should have launced a BB OS version of the priv similar or just slightly lower price than the Android to reatin the BB OS fans
Blackberry cannot live in the PREMIUM world of Android only, it has to offer the best possible Android at less than Flagship.
$375 for the specs there is half as mush as the S7 edge
Is it possible to make the Priv again without Android? Android wants to know everything without choice!
Blackberry Priv is the closest thing you ll get to a Nexus phone. No bloatware like other Android phones. If you want to use Blackberry productivity apps you can otherwise you can switch them off and Voila. PURE Android heaven

You're never scared to put credit card details in a BB OS phone. i know i never was... moreExactly! You can't trust Android and any Google services for that matter.
Google Drive, Gmail, Android Pay, Google Photos, etc. - are all traps for the masses of tech illiterate people. (average consumers with little knowledge about tech and software)
Just ordered 2 for this price.
Fantastic now more people can get to know how amazing this phone is.
Anonymous, 13 Jun 2016Yup! And the BBOS version would've outsold the Android version.
Business people are not ver... moreexactly.
You're never scared to put credit card details in a BB OS phone. i know i never was years back when i had the old BB Bold 4. but you are worried about putting credit card details in an android phone. (unless you modify the OS yourself which not much people do tbh.)
i have an android phone currently though.
AnonD-442287, 13 Jun 2016They should've made two version of the Priv: one with android, one with BB10 OS.Yup! And the BBOS version would've outsold the Android version.
Business people are not very fond of Android and all its problems and bugs.
There goes the PRIV2
Chen Chen must be laughing his head off.
AnonD-383472, 13 Jun 2016If an Android BlackBerry wont sell, what kind of BlackBerry will? Very Good question indeed maybe blackberry with IOS?
They should've made two version of the Priv: one with android, one with BB10 OS.
Promotions in the us won't do you any favor
Focus on the markets that actually buy your phones if there are still any
Make it available with Windows or BBOS and I'll buy it. More people will.
Android is a joke in the business sector. It's ok for multimedia and some games, but other than that, it stands no chance in any business environment. The OS is unreliable, apps crash randomly, apps are closed randomly, it's less secure than any of Windows/BBOS/iOS, and there are no productivity or smart features available.
The lauch price of priv was absurd. May be if launched at 450$, it would have successful.
Look at the specs and hardware, $375 is a steal regardless of who made it.
If Blackberry had of started selling the device for this price initially, I suspect that they would have sold millions instead of just 600,000 (or so).
hmm what??? starting price at almost to more than a thousand of dollars and now, dropped at $375 only and some claimed lower than that?
If an Android BlackBerry wont sell, what kind of BlackBerry will?
Still very expensive junk
