hunk143, 18 Aug 2010Agree HTC is better than Samsung.No brand is better. If HTC was better than Samsung, nobody would buy Samsung phones and the Galaxy S probably would not receive this award.

I don't like SE neither samsung. Its just that I don't like Partiality.
Samsung is definitely producing good phones, i love Wave and Galaxy S but have you ever seen Engadget doing something like GSMArena does. You know GSMArena's conclusion is always blindly Samsung owns.
Anyways get some life and grass.

The Bottom line is Symbian sucks and it can never be a good OS.

anonms, 18 Aug 2010tou guys at gsm are totally against sony no lie,No, if it's true, you SE fanboys have to read all about SE at SE official site by now. The fact that GSMArena team still remains SE in their site and constantly review SE phones mean they aren't against SE.
All of the phones in this world have its "+" and "-". The site which only told you the good, it's lie to you.

Good to see Sony Ericsson back on to be being award winners! Apple the iphone 4 has failed you badly. I know everyone has one but thats because they are sheep. The Ipad is amazing though and a great invention but the iphone 4 is a dead duck. Glad to see Samsung also getting awards!

I will assume full moral and legal responsibility.” This is unlike his statement during his first summon on April 4, 2008 in which he bluntly denied allegations against him for his role in the Samsung Slush Funds scandal.[2] It is believed that Lee is looking for resignation as the CEO of Samsung. On April 21, he officially resigned, and stated: "We, including myself, have caused troubles to the nation with the special probe; I deeply apologise for that, and I'll take full responsibility for everything, both legally and morally."[3]
On July 16, 2008, The New York Times reported that the Seoul Central District Court found him guilty on charges of financial wrongdoing and tax evasion. Prosecutors requested that Lee be sentenced to seven years in prison and fined $347 million. The court fined him $109 million and sentenced him to 3 years suspended jail time. Lee has not responded to the verdict.[4]"

Now, had Apple made damn sure that the antenna wasn't going to cause problems, then the iPhone4 might have won an award or two.
Besides, anyone who actually believes these so called "awards" aren't fixed, then you gotta be pretty naive.

I personaly have the phone.. and its smooth as hell...
If you update to the latest firmware... it gets even smoother cause now the ripple effect from the water livewallpaper doesnt show any slow sign when u continuosly tapping it in a fast manner.
But i do have a few problem with the phone though...
1. After upgrading to the new firmware.. i notice a bug that would cause ur home screen to go black sometimes whne you close some application.
2. The GPS seem to take a longer time to get signal than before..
