I have to thank to a very special girl named Stefania for making me to wait untill the Galaxy S arrived in my country(Romania). Before this piece of beauty i had an iphone 3g. It realy sucked (sorry but besides the games support it was rubbish). And from my point of view the Galaxy S is not an ihpone clone. It looks even better. This award is the real proof that iphone can be defeated. And when i say iphone i mean the 4G. Bravo Samsung !

All it means is that the chip is fabricated in a samsung fab. Samsung has nothing to do with how the chip works, how it interacts with other components or even what it's spec is. They basically just get a blueprint, kinda like an architect telling a builder what to do when building a house.

I had a chance to try out the Galaxy S at the store the other day. It really is a wonderful phone. It is the phone I wish I had gotten instead of my current one. If only I had waited a few more months.

Because ... moreyeah camera phone war is over. samsung make good hardware & design but their after sales support is suck. Nokia still the BEST in after sales support but Nokia make phone with outdated hardware , medicore design & old os (Symbian S60) now.

One of my friend bought Samsung Galaxy S few days ago and i checked it for few hours. Really its a superb smart phone so i didnt get surprised when it became a winner. Well done Samsung, well done Google. :-)

Nokia is so loser & sucker now their Symbian^1 team is so disappointment. fired!!! so ridiculious they sell Symbian^1 Smartphone from high $500 (N97) to low $180 (5230) without significan change spec so stupid. they only can do is change homescreen what a joke.

ALonZo, 16 Aug 2010Ha ha Can you show me proof it's made by LG please?Just google iphone 4 and lg screen and you'll see in many places that lg does produce the iphone 4 screen. Apple couldnt make a screen like it themselves,although by all the marketing ploys and exaggerated claims from steve jobs you'd swear he'd personally invented it himself. ironically alot of fanboys think it is made by apple and thats why its the 'best'. Its surpased in fact by super amoled ( see gsmarenas own review of iphone 4 vs samsung galaxy s to see the comparison. Next step is for samsung to provide these beauties for other phones like theyve done with the amoled screen!

Anonymous, 16 Aug 2010No iPhone No Samsung No Sony Ericsson No Nokia .... jajajajja ... old and rubbish symbian. ... morethis is the first time i've heard of it ,so i checked the net and found that it has very good camera 14mp with optical zoom but the phone looks very thick and ugly ,uses TFT screen with 3,2" screen that makes it a joke in front of the galaxy s.

The Samsung Galaxy is a brilliant phone no doubt. What is funny that paranoid posters are still thinking of the iPhone and keep mentioning it here. Proves no matter how good the Galaxy is, no matter what awards it wins, the iPhone is still in the back of many peoples minds, therefore is still leader of touchscreen devices! Fact!
