Anonymous, 19 Aug 2010why u r so obssessed with android..they r making phones for everyone who can afford to buy as ... morei'm not obsessed wit android. Ur d one who obsessed wit nokia. I haven't said android phones r best ever phones. All phones have their own gd and bad. Nokia's feature phones wit s40 r gr8 to use (i've used a couple too) bt wen it comes to smartphones, i hate s60 user interface. And i believe quality comes slightly expensive. Android wit a gd hardware is (luckily, most of them comes wit one) the far better option than the symbian, wp or ios at present. (This may change wit symbian 3 and wp7) If nokia comes wit android i wud welcome it whole heartedly.
Lemme correct you. X3-02 ain't first S40 touch-screen phone. First S40 touch-screen phone was Nokia 6208 Classic!
very cute. fell in love :) for a secondary phone beside my iPhone 4 it would be nice :)
9.6 mm?? FTW!
this phone is awesome.
If this phone had s60 i 'd be sold.
There is no other operating system for phones as user friendly and stabil as Symbian.
Andriod needs to evolve, WM to change and iOS to lower prices (among others)
this is one of the most elegant phone i have even seen till date. kudos to nokia designers! user interface is neat and clean (as far as in video), i was waiting for touch screen in nokia feature phones from years. my wait ends here, this gonna be my next secondary device.
I like it because now you can actually use the phone when you're driving, try doing that with a touchscreen
ajmc1, 18 Aug 2010n900 is a waste as it will not get any update to maemo 6 frm the 5th version its having nw. Be... morewhy u r so obssessed with android..they r making phones for everyone who can afford to buy as well..so dont write something just to comment here

Anonymous, 18 Aug 2010yes buddy.. Nokia 7710 is the first touchscreen mobile phone, but unfortunately they didnt ... moreThen why GSM Arena listed the Motorola A6188 was released in year "2000"....3 years earlier than your beloved (but never seen) 7710?
so cool design!

Nokia 7710 is the first touchscreen mobile phone, but unfortunately they didnt ... moresry i think u r wrong.
The first smartphone was called Simon; it was designed by IBM in 1992 and shown as a concept product[7] that year at COMDEX, the computer industry trade show held in Las Vegas, Nevada. It was released to the public in 1993 and sold by BellSouth. Besides being a mobile phone, it also contained a calendar, address book, world clock, calculator, note pad, e-mail, send and receive fax, and games. It had no physical buttons to dial with. Instead customers used a touch- screen to select phone numberstg with a finger or create facsimiles and memos with an optional stylus. The Erricsons 1st smartphone GS88 was followed up by the touch screen smartphone R380 in 2000, the first device to use the new Symbian OS, and by the P800 in 2002, the first camera smartphone.
n900 is a waste as it will not get any update to maemo 6 frm the 5th version its having nw. Better go for android. The only gd thing that nw nokia produce is the s40 feature phones. Clearly the finnish is out of smart phone business. Their only hope to catch up depends on how gd may the symbian 3 works and wen they decide to get better hardware.
ajmc1, 18 Aug 2010xcuse me did i heard that nokia introduced touchscreen first?yes buddy..
Nokia 7710 is the first touchscreen mobile phone, but unfortunately they didnt realize its value.
I guess it was released in 2003

If it looks like Apple then be it, Nokia introduced touchscreen first,
but it doesnt make Apple copied iPhone from Nokia.
I can't believe what I'm reading on this forum. All the big manufacturers make cool stuff, but I can't see anybody knocking Nokia off its podest. They really provide solutions for everybody, in every price segment. The loudest barkers are those who least get the picture.
