THank you for the updates.

I think Nokia is getting a smarter and easier-to-use touchscreen phone in x3. I always love the touchscreen but could not stand the lack of usability and single-handedness most of the time.

Touch and type phone is a great way to go and my dream is coming true. I wish the design of slider phone with touch and type feature in the E-series is coming up next.

Thank you Nokia for understanding and digesting user's needs.

Please keep moving to win my heart lol :)

so lets get this straight, the dude in the video just says X3

      but in specs its X3-02

so that means there could be a X3-01, X3-03, X3-5 etc..

but everyone's gonna call them X3's

great, already people confuss 6700c, 6700slide, 6600 fold etc and now this crap

      what the hell

The keypad layout reminds me of the cheap-o China phones sold here in the Philippines. Tsk! Tsk!...

Please don't compare this one with the droid ones!! Because droids are smartphones and X3-02 is just a FEATURE PHONE!! I think that this one is comparable to iF**K because this crap is NOT a true smartphone...

*, # and 0 in the forth column was the thing you can only see in Chinese phone. And it look really cheap.

Also, the overall design look somewhat ugly. But the overall functions look great. At least you can see Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n in such a low-end price list now.

This is great news for people like me who hates touching the screen because all you see is dirt and grease all over the bloody screen!

however, I want my GPS and Compass so bring out a E series device E72 with touch screen for example, but i do love this concept, it simply means it looks like a normal phone but it's not, i can do both if i /choose/ to do so :D

"Today Nokia announced their first handset to pack a touchscreen and a regular alphanumeric keypad simultaneously. Nokia X3-02 Touch and Type"

I thought back in 2005 the almighty brand released a phone called "6708", which according to GSM Arena, offers a touchscreen with a stylus (hence handwriting recognition).

If such design is the one of the best ever, how come even GSM Arena itself forgotton the 6708? Or else, how many others here even remember that 6708?

Maybe for operators it might be a problem, but for the consumer it's only beneficial... Hmm... Let's see what Nokia can deliver in the future. Otherwise, looking forward into N8
