I remember a water test with both Galaxy S6 and iphone 6. THey both survived fairly long underwater, over 30 minutes I think with only eventual damage coming to the speaker. I think it's pretty standard now for most high-end phones to survive minor dips. I want to give credit to Sony but I don't think they're alone at the moment. Still, pretty sure the Z started the trend...
AnonD-292864, 14 Jun 2016Water damage doesn't usually show itself immediately. It usually takes 24-48 hours for a phone... moreAfter some days I was reading the comments and they youtuber replied and said the phone is working absolutely fine if there was sign of water in the phone the camera lens would be the first to show

Dropped it on a concrete floor several times. And it works perfectly fine. It only got minor scratches at the back tho. I switched to Samsung (as my temporary phone) since SP is still on JB (tho I am thinking on rooting it). But until now, it works perfectly fine, not even a scratch on the screen.
AnonD-404954, 14 Jun 2016Sony Xperia X do not get ip certifird yetIt so sad that some people call them selves no one or nobody because they are not going to buy it :D.
Sony innovates, with out brand that innovates where would you look for innovation? China?
I am very nicely impressed considering this phone doesn't have Waterproof. Can't wait to buy the X Performance! :)
Let the trolls say whatever they want. They can't afford a Sony so they troll. That's all they know. Praise cheap devices and bash the real competition.
Despite the controversial prices of the Xperia X, this phone deserves to be expensive. After all Sony is quality.
We know Sony does not give warranty for water damage.
wp_lover, 14 Jun 2016Luckiest guy. Every Sony fans should try.. Who is bragging about this.No one should try just a bit of splash is fine
