oho, 19 Aug 2010Actually, Apple has a better claim of STEALING square icons, and the whole graphical UI from Xerox!@ oho.
you said "Actually, Apple has a better claim of STEALING square icons, and the whole graphical UI from Xerox!"
i'd say that Apple weren't stealing, they were copying Xerox ;o)
at least we're agreed on one thing, Apple used the square icon system before Nokia.
Anonymous, 20 Aug 2010hope retail model desgin is different from what we saw here the screen size must be ... morejeez wats the point of this unit if it doesn't have a keyboard? Might as well be something else; an n8-1 maybe, a different variant with bigger screen but downgraded camera
hope retail model desgin is different from what we saw here
the screen size must be larger
the keyboard is not needed
[deleted post]hey man thanks, you gave me a big laugh. Now, what the heck are you saying? This is how market is all about, is how things are going. Is just like saying fire is a property of ape man cause he invented it or we are jealeous of homo sapiens cause he lived in a cave and we now built houses in advance. When i was using my 7710 touchscreen back in 2004, apple was trying to steal the patend of making calls, not even the touchscreen! But wait a minute, you are right, apple looks like homo sapiens.
satanik, 20 Aug 2010all the phones out by nokia since a while have the same shape...almost same features and all a... moreSince when does E-series, Classic-series, N-series and X-series looks anything alike? Stop talking nonsense... it's irritating
Danny1911, 19 Aug 2010Oh c'mon.. 1st.. No one needs so many apps opened at the same time + I don't think that a Norm... morei am pretty sure that the only phone you tested was 5800, a 1/3 of the hd2 shoe's price, less than half cpu speed and 2 years older. You shouldn't do that comparison, even though that htc is a crap. Go try some new nokia or compare 5800 with any 200 dollar htc or samsung and then speak
Does anyone notice that this is a bit different from the black "N9"? It doesn't have the single button below the screen and and the keyboard is different too. I guess the black one is a keyboard version of the N8 since it has symbian 3 os and this one that runs on meego is the N9.
all the phones out by nokia since a while have the same shape...almost same features and all are box looking.
Nokia come up with something new and different.
Anonymous, 19 Aug 2010it's kinda pathetic how all these companies are becoming such apple clones. seriously. can't t... morewhat do you mean? Cause apple made a design for macbooks and one for ipod-ipad-iphone. So that's allready 2 hahaha st*pid. And now i have realised that they given some great names too (everything is named i-crap)
make it black!!
Anyone fancy a N9 Mini?
looks nothing like any apple rubbish, thank goodness, i likes the look of this thing, had it had any apple ness to it i would have to say no thanks to it.
i don't think meego runs on a 360x640p screen
if this n9 then it runs on symbian 3 yaa!.check out the videos on techno buffalo and youtube.they have the same model prototyperunning on symbian 3. well nokia said only n8 is going to be run on symbian 3.but you see c7 and may be even this one seems to be running on sym 3
LiMo is a mobile platform i havent used ... yet.
After having used WinMO, Android and Symbian (S60v3 + v5), i say that the best operating system today is symbian, due to its great usability and stability. Its simple: everything works - doesnt crash.
I wonder why Nokia is trying to use Linux. Symbian can do everything Limo can do.
Is it too much to ask for 12 MP camera? :)
X-man, 20 Aug 2010Nice phone! Does everything like a PC. full internet browsing w flash wifi access point ... morei was doing all that on my 5800 and my buddy was doing it on his n95 lol it's not hard
Anonymous, 20 Aug 2010nice, but to be competitive, the Super AMOLED display would have to have a good pixel density,... moreThe screen ress doesnt make a phone better than an other... Its like you saying " i have the best computer because i have a HD ress capable screen. No matter if my cpu is single core.."
