i think that this phone looks quite nice obviosly a sleeker version of the g1 which imho was the best phone i ever had i have an iphone now and had an N97 mini before that and still wish i hadnt changed my g1 if this phone is specced as well as some of the other android handsets, the galaxy s for example, then it could well be worth lookng into if only it was available on vodafone
You can see more shots of this phone on another news website... I posted the link to it but apparently gsmarena doesn't like that. IMHO it's looking pretty nice!
im sure people will buy this phone and be happy.
s$$$... people buy iphones and are happy with it
HTC is better than this poor attempt i'm afraid! once you get into the phones software you've never been more happy. It becomes part of your life :-D. Sorry T-mobile i'm not budging, and i think no one else will either.
Did some of you actually read the article before starting to complain about GSMArena's "judgement"?
I quote "so let's not pass anymore judgment before we see some better shots."
So calm down, the phone does look dull visually - or should I say, grey phone is grey.
Incase everyone doesn't already know.. You can find more pictures of the G2 @ engadget.
Here's the link!
I think it looks pretty good. :)
Matze, 21 Aug 2010Dull? Did the reviwer say dull? Nobody would ever dare to call the iPhone (Design) development... moreWell said. GSM Arena is starting to make me wonder who is in charge of writing and editing/reviewing these articles. At this point, nothing is confirmed about this phone, so why pass judgments so early? Processor, Screen size, OS version, camera and everything else are speculations and rumors.
This phone is just great, it's a Desire variant for QWERTY die hards. It will become the most desired Android phone till this xmas.
exNokiaFan, 21 Aug 2010I think you guys are comprehending the article completely wrong. The writer of the article no ... moreit is dull merely the aesthetic looks Like You.. You Should Create your own Phone Made of Boastful story...Dude
Anonymous, 21 Aug 2010"Anyways", what a trash review if you could even call it that, you're right gsm aren... moreI think you guys are comprehending the article completely wrong. The writer of the article no where mentions that the hardware of the phone is dull merely the aesthetic looks. So calm down, if you're looking at it purely aesthetically it is dull because quite frankly it looks almost like every other HTC phone thats out and already released.
the 1.0 snapdragon is getting dull.... they should put the 1.5 in this one!
Dull? Did the reviwer say dull? Nobody would ever dare to call the iPhone (Design) development dull as the first 3 versions looked the same.... GSM Arena you start to loose it
This phone is gonna be sick.. finally a fully qwerty keyboard but most importantly, this is gonna be t-mobile first legit HSPA+ phone. Madd fast!!!
"Anyways", what a trash review if you could even call it that, you're right gsm arena, 5mp cam (At least) with a flash and a 1gz processor with a keyboard and a 480x800 rez on a 3.7 inch screen, how DULL. With adobe flash being release the same month this phnoe is being released who could WANT SUCH A PHONE *sarcasm*
Fire the person who wrote this article.
totally looks like the cut and pasted the ledgend and added a keyboard.. if they can keep it functional and this thin im upgrading
It has a modern look, hopefully it wont be like the G1. the G1 was an android pioneer but it was quickly forgotten once other android phones came out. Maybe this will be something worth selling my Galaxy S for. I am not a fan of Android onscreen keyboards!
I usually agree with you guys (GSMArena rulez)
but this phone is out of this world...
To know of it is to love it...
It is everything I dream/would need
for a long time (one year 4 sure, maybe more)...
search for "bada roadmap" picture on google. and see the 2nd latest one.
but i think this one is HTC's.
