They both give 7-8 hrs on screen time. Plus, I have never seen a single comment that says these phone lacks processing punch or heats while gaming (heard that about moto though !)
I myself love Moto's software approach but it's not the only thing I would buy a phone for. That too when they mode the phone uglier, removed waterproof advantage from their previous iteration.

Numbers mean nothing if you have a hard time using a phone. You can have a 4000mAh battery that can hardly last a day without optimization, you can have 6GB of RAM, but still will reload every app after being sent into background. That's why user experience is always more important than numbers, because that makes a difference between a happy customer and a frustrated customer, no matter how mighty the specs looks like.

Moto G or G+ cost much more than the devices having more powerful processor which are available at lower price point like LeEco 2s, Xiaomi RN 3, ZUK Z1 and many more....
Talking about battery life, Moto offers smallest battery in comparison to it's competitors. This is the worst Moto G phones till now.
Except 1st generation, no one feels like bang for a buck. The only good thing with Moto is software.

SD625 cpu can be clocked up to 2.0 GHz and which is octa core cpu while other SD 650 and SD652 can only be clocked at 1.8 GHz so SD625 is little faster in processing if clocked at 2.0 GHz.

It's the best true midrange chipset available (SD650 and 652 are upper midrange chipsets). It's like an Helio X10 but with a smaller fabrication process. Offers good performance without chewing up your battery.

If you think SD625 isn't good enough, just look for better options. That's the way free market works.

What is wrong with Moto ? Always offer inferior processor as compared to competitors. Don't they wish to wash out other brands rather than giving them an option in form of bad processor with good software.

Muthu, 17 Jun 2016Looking at the geekbench multi-core scores, I would disagree that SD 625 is inferior to SD 650... moreMulticore scores have no meaning, most of apps are designed to use 2 cores efficiently or max 4.
8 Cores are never used effectively. That's why Apple is smart to stick to dual core but faster cores which 650 A72 is(Dual A72 Cores)
and Energy Efficient does not mean High Performance.
As long as you have 2700mah+, 650 is energy efficient to get full day with quite heavy use with 1080p and without compromising performance
