Not that stupid as to waste money on an 950 , for what ?
Dont they have a limited licence for the Nokia branding? I hear that Nokia is bringing its phones back after the 18 month agreement with microsoft has passed
I don't think W10M will just disappear. It is pretty much a good OS as long as you're not an app junkie.
I use both Android and a Windows phone. Both seems to be okay for me. But the home screen is beautiful on the Windows phone no matter what customization I do on the Android home screeen.
This is just my personal opinion.
And the multi task button being on the left side makes it easy for me to switch between apps on the Window phone, even though the it is closer (actually too close) to the thumb on the Android makes it little annoying. These little little things make it easy for me to use a W10M than an Android.
But we have to. face the truth. That is W10M still don't have a good market share. That makes it less attractive to app developers.
(But there are apps like myTube! in my opinion offers better features than the official YouTube app for Android)
Anonymous, 21 Jun 2016You must have a faulty unit or you are running a developer preview build.Well 8.1 is a bit more bearable but 10 was dead slow....
Buying a 950XL was the worst mistake of my life. MS doesn't even respond to any complain or issues I report anymore. Doesn't surprise me they are doing BOGO seeing as their market share is near to nothing now. Last Windows Phone I'll ever buy, stuck with them since the Nokia/Microsoft alliance, but will now just wait for the new Nokia phone and jump back on their ship as soon as it arrives.

If blackberry is barely selling its android phone, how about being a windows phone? They are trying way too hard
Windows phone is a joke
I've been a fan since its launch.. it was a great platform then it went downhill with windows phone 8 and now this
Even windows on desktop is no longer needed.. apps are the most essential
Unless you are a gamer or you code or work heavily on your computer, a windows or even a mac is not needed at all

And what do you know about professionals and the tools that they prefer to use? Not all of them are using a windows device, let alone a windows phone.
LOL, 21 Jun 2016LOL....."Windows is better"...??
Care to explain?Sorry, maybe I was a bit vague. Windows is better for professionals and people who do a lot of work on the go, and for those who want their device to run without any restarts, app crashes or factory resets every 6 months or so.
Also, the modern and intuitive interface makes it easy for anyone to use their phone easily (no sub-sub-sub-sub-submenus, everything is neat and tidy, all organised) and you know what's going on in all your apps at a glance, without even opening them.
mir, 21 Jun 2016Those canadian ladies will be sadly out of jobs soon. Since lumia and wp are going to be no more.Since Windows is already a better, more efficient and more secure OS than Android (and Google started copying a lot of ideas from it), it isn't going to go anywhere anytime soon.
