Ab9, 24 Jun 2016Samsung Galaxy A7 2015 is also getting update(marshmallow) in Russia.usually it's difficult to get updates in Russian
so can anybody tell me ,size of the update (in GBs), roughly 4 android 6
and the 2015 A series will be forgotten. samsung promoted the a series to be the mid range phone next to the S series but as we have seen it has been discarded , the A series did not even get to 5.1.1
Blackfredie, 23 Jun 2016I think you been very accurate with your description about Samsung, thy more that rude with h... moretheir approach to business is different than how we want it to be because if they do it like the way we want that wouldn't earn them more profits
while sony( look at new x series) lg( their new k or whatever the alphabet they used for mid range this year, so lackluster that even the name can not be remembered for long) and htc think of making money through overpriced entry ,mid and high end mid range phones,Samsung also does the same but also adds one more reciepe of flooding the market with models in order to get market share instead of betting big on a single model in every budget range.
Whatever they do it, however they price their products they are just succeeding in increasing the volumes n lowering down the avg life of a cellphone. I am not against it cause personally i have enough money to spend on upgrades or not, its jusy they should value the price paid by customer.
if we look as in whole the price ranges from 100 to 900 USD for android phones which means the avg price is around 400$ mark, is it too much by consumers side to expect his/her phone to give the same experience as first day for 1$ per 2 days?like 800 days and thn start coming with excuses like hardware outdated thats why latest updates aren't smooth.
rick.1, 23 Jun 2016I dont think A7 2015 edition is going to get the update for i dont think older a7 is going to ... moreI think you been very accurate with your description about Samsung, thy more that rude with how they treat their mid range phone, I bought the A5 2016 and it wasn't cheap phone. and look how many months we need to wait so we start getting android 6.0.1,
I think that instead of having 10 different models of phone, they stop and work with the ones they have already. I don't think I would be buying any other Samsung phone in the future
Finally they planing in updating these smartphones.. hope it doesn't take long for it to reach my device, :(
Will the original A5 ever get the M update? Even the lower class J5 is getting Marshmallow.........
Hiren--Rathod, 23 Jun 2016hello..... i am confused can you tell me which Samsung galaxy update A7 or A7(2016)..... or both ??I dont think A7 2015 edition is going to get the update for i dont think older a7 is going to get M update for 2 more months, And thn when they will release it will intentionally be full of bugs n slow downs in order to project it as if they hardware isn't capable and your device is outdated now and forcing you to update to newer products, Cheap
why dont they get it that it does make the user upgrade but in frustration he/she changes the preferred brand.
Sony has low volume in headset jack, poor image processing, timely updates.
HTC - they never get their camera right, no matter how much hype the create it falls behind the competition everytime, even if sometimes by very less magrin, And their supply issues
LG - i liked the G4, but well in my part of world no one fancies or even recognises smartphones from LG on top of their kiddish sharp n edgy UI ,here LG is just on wishlist of people when it comes to home appliances.
Samsung- always gets camera right, any element isn't childish, amoled, battery but they are very very rude with mid range n higher mid range products, updates always late n buggy, you can not expect more thn one smooth OS upgrade update, i mean literally not even 2 for their phones btwn 400-600$ mark, service coverage and re sale is better and their entry level products are total crap
Apple- Different ecosystem, but so much in the name of sophistication and security that it can termed as handicap becauase of number of restrictions, lately they've been innovating by copying iXclusive features such as action center, drop down notification bar and new wallpapers.
Consumer just wasting money for not needed and un polished technological upgrades evry year, the old feature phone, wasn't it better? in terms of avg life now its too less 6-18months at most for mid rangers and 18-24 months for flagships.
Just causing pollution and wasting resources in influence of ad's
I use to wonder who buys a product just coz of an advt abt it's single feature, Now i know.
