Hmm.. I'll keep an eye out, I might be looking for a replacement for the Blackberry Classic in the days ahead.
The Classic has been excellent to me.
Those are massive losses. Even some car models have more units sold than their phones. Blackberry are sinking really quick
hahaha, blackberry, unless they release a beast of a 5 inch phone which ticks every single box from dual loud speaker audio to waterproof with a next gen chip, they are dead in the water.
They have one choice, break the bank or don't release a phone.
galaxyS7, 24 Jun 2016New chipset cost more thus make it more expensive..... Blackberry need more customers.......... Even if bb goes with sd617 it wont be priced cheaply Ive got a feeling it will $400
I want to see the new devices for real first, Then I can judge them. But in general I think John Chen have done a good job. He have stabilised the company and they moving in the right direction. The big failure was the previous CEO Thorstein Heins.
If Blackberry wants to come back to the previous status, please be adhered to the what is market needed. some of the tips - 1 - Dual or Triple sim phone, 2 - Removable Battery and with more enduring power,
LG superfan, 24 Jun 2016How about passport with android and sd652New chipset cost more thus make it more expensive..... Blackberry need more customers..........
Anonymous, 24 Jun 2016If I was ceo of bb, I would do so much betterYeah.. Right.......!!!!! :-))
My last blackberry phone was Z30. A Blackberry with Pure BB 10 OS without android runtime in z10 like compact phone with 3000 mah battery and SD 625, and a passport phone with SD 625 in Android too.... Just a wish I am sharing with all BB lovers.....
galaxyS7, 24 Jun 2016Can you imagine passport with Android and SD617 chipset ? How about passport with android and sd652
JACK SPARRROW, 24 Jun 2016The people running blackberry are clueless, look at what they release, mid range phones. The p... moreActually they could use the approach that buisness ppl have to give all the staff cellphones with some security to avoid leaks and u won't give all ur staff high end phones, rather buy 150 mid ranged... price would matter in that term too but it could be a good aproach
Release a midrange phone with mid-range pricing,not with a high-end pricing..
The people running blackberry are clueless, look at what they release, mid range phones. The primary reason of their product is to attract businesses, business people have money and would be willing to spend on the top of the line products but blackberry releases mid rang phones.....In 2016, expensive things sell better than cheap things. Blackberry need to fire and hire their staff.
galaxyS7, 24 Jun 2016Can you imagine passport with Android and SD617 chipset ? That'd be Awesome. I was eyeing that phone last year but it ran an OS I was unfamiliar with. But now that they chose Android, I'm willing to buy a Blackberry as long as it gets long term support. At least 2 years.
